Re: Texas gets serious about protecting the family

    I am a simple man.

If a woman considers abortion, she should be stoned to death. At the forefront of my mind is the concern about providing a brighter future for our children.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

This may seem counterintuitive, but if we could just ban all forms of contraceptives I think that would stop many women from trying to get abortions.

It's the availability of birth control that encourages the majority of women to run around and have sex. If there were no birth control to be had, women wouldn't be so quick to engage in non-marital sex. There would be a statistical drop in the number of women seeking abortions as a result.

Laws restricting young women from traveling about without the escort of a male relative would also help, but we can get to that later.

First, we restrict abortions and criminalize everything and everyone involved, then we shut down the contraceptive trade, then we work at keeping ladies at home where they belong.
