It makes people with any spiritual discernment deeply uncomforable because Almighty God has called it an abomination. Also, I don't know what either due process or equal protection of the laws has to do with faggotry or lezbanianism. The due-process and equal-protection clauses of the 14th Amendment were clearly about race, and it's pure sophistry to ask why, if that's the case, the framers of the post-war amendments didn't mention race when they did in the 15th Amendment.
