  • Wanton destruction of our heritage

As statues of slave owners and people who lost the civil war continue to be toppled, I weep for the loss of our precious heritage. Fortunately we will soon be wrapped in the warm blanket of a Great Southern Border Wall to protect what little is left from maurauding savages.

If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

I agree, Dr. Toole, this desecration of our nation's heroes must stop. Every historian surely knows it was the South that fought for Christian values.

The South knew God did not want mixing of the races so it tried to maintain slavery and segregation. Oh sure, there are those who say the South was prejudiced against the darker skinned people. It was always about doing God's will. Leaders from the South need to be honored with statues and vandals should leave them alone.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Yes, and it is not as though we were praying to those statues like the Catholics do--makers of graven images-. We are merely honoring honorable men who fought against the tyranny of a federal government who was trying to rip their property right out of their hands.
