  • Parents of Teens, Introduce Them to "Jesus Take the Wheel"

The song "Jesus Take the Wheel" has become a powerful tool to bring teens to Christ. Sung by pop star and testifying Christian, Carrie Underwood, it is a story about coming to Jesus during troubled times in one's life.

When parents ask me advice about their teenagers, I always say meeting them at their level. "Jesus Take the Wheel" does that.

I watch this several times a year. I have pleaded with Carrie's management to release this song with Carrie not wearing such slutty clothing. It distracts from the Godly message.

58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; 59 Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee. 61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bringk upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

I like her song, "Before He Cheats".

The swinging baseball bat really conveys a strong message, as well.

I always thought the swinging baseball bat was a tacit admission that Carrie Underwood is a lesbian. She was living in a sinful relationship with that man, so she has no right to complain about his sinning. Cast the beam out of your own eye, Carrie.
