Of the however-many people there are on God's Earth - and if you believe the secular statistics, that figure is more like 7.25 billion - the vast majority are not going to be my children or the children of anyone you will meet here. But the chance is not 1 in 6.68 billion or 7.22 billion or whatever it is. Shifters are VERY flexible, they can bend and contort as if they don't have a bone in their body, and they will use that to freak out their prey. They also can walk on all fours and on their hind legs. Being flexible isn't their special ability though, not only are they flexible, they can transform their appearance! When a Shifter is near a human, they are able to shift their appearance to look completely identical to the original human. They can only mimic the forms of living things that are about the same size as them, so a human is very easy to transform into. They even sound like the person they're mimicking. They do not share the humans memories, so if you're suspicious of someone being a Shifter, ask them a question only they would know. Shifter's also can't mimic speech impairments, so if someone used to have some form of speech problem and all of a sudden they speak clearly...keep a close eye on them....

Shifters? There is no mention of such creatures in the Bible, at least in my Bible. Can you provide book, chapter and verse that support your claim?

They are not based on Well's Morlocks. These are entirely different creatures that are deadly and hunt for food and fun. Morlocks are considered by some to be the prefect organisms and look somewhat like this:
