I recently read a thread about the True Christian opinion of the Special Olympics, and Autism, so brothers and sisters, I am a confused woman tonight.
Tomorrow, my 15 yr old step-son, who has chosen to be Autistic and mentally challenged, will participate in the Texas Special Olympics tomorrow, April 20th.
As much as I'd like to support him, like a good "mother," I know that tomorrow I will be surrounded by thousands of individuals who have chosen Satan over being "normal," and God doesn't like that. (Leviticus 21:18–24)
My question is this, do I "cheer him on" while he competes against the other Satanists, or should I just sit in the stands and read my Bible, and pray for their souls? Mr Holly is requiring that I be at the event. He is very Godly, but feels that since his son is under 18, he would have to be there to "support his child" to avoid secular gossiping about his parenting skills.
Perhaps I should
, as Pastor Ezekiel suggested in the Special Olympics post?
I am so lost. I welcome your prayers and suggestions.
