I can't image how Biden came to the conclusion cancelling student loan debts would be good for our country. All those testosterone-pumped students spending money like there was no tomorrow can now consider the whole sex-filled experience a lark.

President Trump has always had a lot of debt. He did not go to our government to get bailed out. Instead he made "arrangements." His debt disappeared and many sore losers were unhappy. But he did not have his debts excused by government.

I hope voters recognize the difference between Biden's gift to beer drinking students and Trump's principled debt negotiation.

The White House is firing back at those who are criticizing student loan forgiveness by bringing up the fact that a few Republicans have had PPP loans forgiven.

I think if the students went to the government and did some hard negotiating, eg. "I'm not making any money, I'll never pay these loans in full. You can take a 10th of what I owe, or you can take nothing", and the government caved, that'd be acceptable, but this giving loan forgiveness to everyone is just handouts and socialism. Trump earned those loan cancellations through hardball negotiating.


How will kids learn the valuable business skills needed to negotiate their way out of debt if the government just gives them handouts?

This is like the government just giving kids 6 figure jobs in the government as opposed to them earning it via qualifications & merit. These loan forgiveness handouts aren't representative of fair free market economic principles.

Great summary, Brother Warrior. My fear is we have an entire generation of young people who have never read, The Art of the Deal. Trump shared with everyone how not to pay back loans. It's up to students to read and learn, government should not allow them to waltz through life without paying their dues.

By running high debts, graduating with something useful i.e. not a PhD in aesthetical cosmetology, there was a clear way forward. Go and live on a different continent and earn big bucks, exporting the knowledge you've gained so that France or Iceland don't insinuate their world view instead. Now there's no need to do that, to move continents, because nobody's chasing you with unreasonable demands – why! Everyone over there will be speaking Icelandic and running social democracies before you can say "Imperialist."
