Mumbai (CBT) -- Mumbai was a city in mourning, as accent-scarfed gay men in the thousands grieved for Shiv Sena leader and champion competitive fellater Bal Thackeray.
But the devoted followers of Thackeray, who was known in more than 200 special interest adult films as "Ganesh's Rentboy," were thrown into a limp-wristed tizzy by indelicate comments made about their idol on Facebook.
“People like Thackeray are born and die daily and one should not observe a bandh [mourning period] for that,” 21-year-old Shaheen Dhadha wrote on her Facebook wall. Thackeray's followers, commonly known in India as "confirmed bachelors," immediately objected that Thackeray was not in fact born, but rather ejaculated in fully adult form from the massive leathery testicles of Vishnu during the elder god's sexual congress with an especially pungent cow.
“Respect is earned, not given and definitely not forced," Dhanda continued. "Today Mumbai shuts down due to fear and not due to respect.” Dhanda's comments were all the more badly-received for being obviously true.
Dhadha and an as-yet-unidentified friend who "Liked" the comment were arrested for “statements creating or promoting enmity, hatred or ill will between classes.” They face up to three years in jail for disrespecting Shiv Sena, the members of which have tender feelings not unlike that of a very petulant girl facing the onset of menses.
The Times of India reports that thousands of Shiv Sena adherents attacked Dhadha’s uncle’s orthopedic clinic, pelting it with copies of Thackeray's final pornographic film, "Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch Me, You Untouchable".
Since this incident, both girls have apologized and been released on bail. Thackeray presumably remains in hell, sobbing as he performing traditional Marathi stripteases for the delight of Satan and his fully-erect minions.
