  • How I came to find the lord

    Hello to y’all
My name is SouthernAndSaved and I’ve become a member of y’all’s fine board. Born in raised in the good ol’ US of A in South Carolina My parents made sure I had the fear of the good lord in me and sent me into a baptist school. As much as I did love them, they were a bit too liberal for me. I’ve always loved our lord and savior.
My favorite verse is Ezekiel 25:17 “And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.” I love this verse because it’s a reminder of how the good lord will one day come to us and remove the sinners and troglodytes from our land, and they will regret ever laughing at us. I’m also quite fond of Revelation 21:6 “And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.” This shows us God’s mercy as well as his power and unending nature. As for my church, I’m confined to one of the only 2 Baptist churches in my home town. The rest are Lutheran (yuck) or presbyterian But I’m managing to do my best to bring the good lord to my town. Thank y’all for reading!
-Your dear friend in Christ our lord n savior, forever and always amen to him our father, SouthernAndSaved

Welcome Mr. AndSaved. Let me echo Sister Isabella's welcome and friendly advice about paragraphs and quoting the KJV only.

I must add, unfortunately, that I was disappointed not to learn how you came to find the Lord, as advertised in the title of the thread. I understand it may be a personal matter, but many on this board have come to be True Christians despite sordid pasts full of disgusting s*x acts for money and other degraded lifestyle choices. Don't hold back in telling the Lord of any vile acts you have committed - His hand can bring the blessed relief you crave.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

        Mr. or Mrs. Andsaved,

Greetings and let me echo my Great Granny’s and dear friend Brother Toole’s welcome and encouragement regarding the use of paragraphicalism when praising our Lord here. I await hearing more and more about you and your walk with Jesus in the years to come. Of course Jesus is coming soon so post while you can. There will be no time for it in Beulah Land.

Have you any young, strapping sons? I do not since despite my attempts to locate a suitable bride, I find I prefer deep fellowship with my fellow man, and anyone here can tell you I am willing to do anything to reach men.

I trust your time with us will be a blessing as we share the joys of how you should live and how you must believe if you hope to trod the streets of gold. Our humble brethren are always willing to point out any things that you might need to change to avoid burning in Hell fires forever. Glory!

In Him, For Him, and Of Him,
        BrotherLarry
        Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
        Amen and Amen

Hello and welcome to Landover's introduction page. I'm glad to see you've eased off on the homosexualist agenda—whether to promote or deride is not a major focus here—and to be quoting Scripture.

God always comes first for those who follow Him but farther back in the roster weird sects have got a foothold: only heretics would be deceived: were you ever deceived ere you came to find The Lord?

Unfortunately our guest seems to be having a Bruce Willis moment and has wandered off mid-conversation. They're definitely not sending their best.

I am a little bit worried about your name. Is it scottish? Irish? I have never heard of that name before.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
