I am having some trouble understanding this thread because, as a single Christian man, I've never seen a vagina (except the day I was born, but I don't remember that, which is good, because uncovering the nakedness of your mother is a sin).

Note to Unsaved Trash: Please don't post vagina pictures here to try to educate me. This is a Christian family values oriented forum. We do not want children who might visit this thread to learn that women have yukky vaginas.

I thought I should mention this. My good friend Candy-Lou forwarded this to my email today in a misguided attempt to inspire my day. When I opened it, I nearly fell off my chair. I thought I was staring at a POV image of inside a cooter queefing on a couple. I was about to lambast here on this inappropriate image.

I can see now on closer look, there's a candle (which at first I mistook for the love-button) and we are looking at a couple through the glow of the candle-light.

It's almost like everything anyone does nowadays is about vaginas. They can't get it out of their minds - they are sick, perverted people - putting representations of vaginas everywhere. There's no escape, it's like being taunted by the girls at the next school who wore their skirts unbelievably short and put on lipstick and made cruel comments to the fat kids who needed hormones. I mean, my point is it's not art like people are supposed to draw pictures of - why can't they stick to rolling hills or ravines. Or face shots, videos. Compilation videos, hours of them. Art that makes commercial sense.

Not to fear with the most modern family-friendly computer art, Sister. Apparently it's too much bother even for the likes of Kinkade to press PRINT and churn out another masterpiece. I must say it appeals much more than typical modern art pictures (see above) and comes close to the ideals set out by some of our favorite artists mentioned in other threads: Terry Redlin, Thomas Kinkade, Adolf Hitler, etc.

Not so, according to illustrator Rob Biddulph who says that AI-generated art “is the exact opposite of what I believe art to be." “People will begin to think that their ‘work’ is as valid as that created by someone who has spent a career making art." Biddulph continues: “A human artist is also adding emotion and nuance into the mix, and memory – specifically, its failings.”

Actually Rob, that is not a selling point. You should try aiming for photo realistic accuracy and perfect order, like the computer robot, and see if that helps shift more product (clue: it will). Few here are interested in "failings".

According to another modern second-rater, Dapo Adeola, "the increasing use of AI will lead to a devaluing of the work of artists." Surely that is a positive, Dapo? A golden era of cheap, plentiful art for the masses - although I doubt it's possible to beat the rock-bottom prices and factory quality of a Kinkade. I'll be happy for the free market to prove me wrong.

Here's the rule for a good painting: It must be almost indistinguishable from a photograph. As you brilliantly observed, Doctor, the market tells us what is good art.

However I decided to explore my artistic side with an online AI generator just now and am rather impressed - this is real art not that copycat stuff put out by wannabes who didn't dedicate themselves to the craft. Judge for yourself (it took a couple of tries before I got the hang of it). Note this is copyright material so please do not distribute.

I'd have to say you are onto a skill that will be a valuable contribution of your career, Doctor.

Now, I'm not really qualified to be an art critic, but if I were I would make one small suggestion. That is to steer clear and anything abstract. Where you might be getting close to the abstract is Jesus in armor riding a unicorn. My understanding from actual pictures of him entering Jerusalem he was riding a donkey and was not wearing armor plate.
