Great political insight, Pastor Zeke. Every Republican nominee must have a position of ebola or he is going nowhere. I knew when Donald crafted an ebola position it would be that of a front-running contender. It would have to be a position that reflected both the tragedy experienced by victims and our technical ability to fight the disease.

Today he did it, a politically perfect stance on ebola. He said there is a bright side to the ebola disease. It will put an end to the custom of shaking hands.

I can't imagine where he comes up with this kind of political insight. My advice to the other people looking at a run for the Republican Presidential nomination, forget it.

I've been waiting months for him to make his move. Finally, he is forming his campaign.

In typical Donald style, he let everyone else fall on their face and then moved up from the back of the pack. From here on out, his likable personality will glow and he will steam roll everyone who challenges him.

I sent a message to his campaign reminding them to run out again his Christian credentials.

Donald is a devout Christian and probably does not need nor want your support. Nevertheless, getting support from both Christians and heathens will put him over.

Apparently, you are not Callista. And that is good. My friend, Newt, acquires a new wife for each campaign. Since Callista did not bring him home to victory last time, I suspect Newt is looking for a replacement wife.

Apparently, Newt has a deep bench of women ready to suit up.

The nation's next President, Donald Trump, is entering the Iowa Caucus. He has formed the traditional "exploratory committee" and has already been here in Des Moines once.

When he was here, I had a chance to chat briefly. He said he would tell Jeb Bush to go fly a kite--in his speech he did just that.

His next visit is April 8, 10 AM. He is going to speak at nearby Simpson College about education.

One of his people asked if I had any suggestions. I told him to pour it on Bush about Common Core. Bush is all for Common Core.

I suggested, too, that he discuss again his faith--there are so many faith voters in the Iowa Caucus. I think his testimony that he attends his church faithfully every Christmas and Easter will move evangelicals to tears.

I said he should stay on message with the two other big issues that have carried the day for him so far. The first is that Obama is not a U. S. citizen. The other issue that has done well for him is keeping out of the country U. S. citizens that catch ebola. Just because people have been isolated and recovered does not mean that issue should die. Stay on message--that's what he has to do.

New poll shows The Donald is on the move. I can predict with confidence he will soon be at the top of the heap.

His latest really smart move was to point out how poorly what's-her-name Carhop Funicello (I might have misspelled her name, I had never heard of her until lately) did as CEO of HP. Donald said he had never seen a CEO fired so ungraciously so she must have had it coming.

Donald was well within his rights to sue the air-head investigative reporter who added up Donald's assets and subtracted what he owes. He gave Donald a net worth of a tiny $200 million.

A man's worth is what he owns. What he owes is beside the point. As soon as the debt is paid off what he owns will be his net worth.

Maybe reporters can get away with bad reporting about other politicians. With The Donald they cannot.
