Help me stop mixing up Austria and Australia

My company do business with clients from different parts of the world. I have however a problem that I often mix up Austria and Australia. Since both name sound and and is spelled almost exactly the same, the etymology first law say that the they do it for a very good reason.

I know that one of the countries is a totalitarian state, under the iron fist rule of Joseph Fritzl with straight roots to Adolf Hitler. But it is always a bad impression when I ask a client from the other country if Fritzljugend is a problem for them.

Help me get a memory strategy to stop mixing them up. I can't check Wikipedia the first thing I do each time I meet clients from Australia/Austria.

Bring a can of Foster's lager with you. If they grab it right away you know they're Australian.

Austria and Australia are one and the same, only Austrians will ever claim a difference.

The reason for so much evil from Austria, from Hitler to baby-eating dogs to Fritzl is that people in Austria are taught to never accept responsibility for their actions, instead children are taught to blame all wrong actions on their evil twin from Australia a.k.a. magical opposite land that is the complete opposite of Austria, according to Austrian legends it is a desert island, instead of landlocked fertile country, it is run by racist, lesbian women and located at the bottom of the world with people walking around upside down; it is hot in winter and Christmas is celebrated in the summer; dogs are not companions but steal babies, carrying them off in their pouches, opposite to girls carrying their dogs in their purses; all animals are poisonous and hop instead of run.

We all know Germany has publicly apologized for their actions during World War 2. Austria never has, because they claim that the tens of millions of people they murdered weren't murdered by their Hitler, they were murdered by Hitler's evil Australian twin. The same goes for Dingos, Fritzl, Globocnik, Haider, Kaltenbrunner, Aboriginals, Stangl, Kangaroos, etc, etc. Austrians will simply claim that all those are from Australia: the place where all criminals come from because those have been sent there hundreds of years ago.

So when in your business dealings you come across someone who claims to be Australian you know that they are or have recently committed an act of unimaginable evil, while an Austrian is only likely to do so at any moment.

The way I tell them apart is to remember that Austrialia was settled by homers let out of prison.

That's why they wear those "cute" hats.
