I know I am what God created me to be. Nothing less, nothing more. He made me suffer, He made me question but He also gave me the Bible. It keeps me strong.

I have been thinking a lot ever since I posted here and saw your replies. I feel relieved... Could this be a sign that I ended here when I felt the worst?

I do not know what to do. Am I supposed to live this life I was given in sadness? I'm desperate for answers...

If you're sad then you are clearly not Saved(r). True Christians(tm) are the happiest folks on earth, because we know that Jesus loves us and has reserved a place for us up in Heaven.

What church do you attend? Tell us about yourself, and stop snivelling like a little girl.

Why is it that so many people live this life feeling happy, feeling accepted? Then afterwards receive the gift of Heaven.

I feel you have not been through what I have.

What have YOU done for GOD lately?

Life is not about you, it is about HIM. Stop being so selfish and give back to the entity that created you.

Good grief! Loads of us were born Catholics and then took steps on the road to Salvation®. Do you see us whining about it or simply praising the Lord for providing us with an inerrant blueprint for how to live our lives?

Instead of bleating on about how God isn't doing this for you or that for you why not look at your whole wretched life and what you are doing wrong!

I was brought up Catholic. Seven years have now passed since my mother and father died in a bus accident at Konginkangas, Finland. They were deeply religious... Catholics. I never really understood their faith. They taught me that if one believes, they are saved. I feel sad that they thought so, I really do. I pray for their souls even though I know where they went...

After the crash I knew why their lives ended short. That was when I knew that the way I lived was not the way God wanted me to live. That was when I understood the importance of the Scripture. I am deeply ashamed for I have lived wickedly and my life would be worthless if it wasn't for Him.

I merely scraped the surface but I do believe you understand why I knew I had to change the way I believed.

How do you KNOW it was our Lord who was behind the accident? You said I am not supposed to understand Him. Why should I believe that you do?

I have nothing but God in my life anymore. It might be a sign or it might be a test. I do NOT know which it is but I will hold strong.

Then why does he imply that I'm not supposed to understand Him? I am here to find a better way of life. I do not wish to get into pointless arguments. Read the whole thread if you haven't already. Then you might see what I am hoping to find here.
