  • Introduction of the Librarian

You may call me Librarian. I do not reveal my personal information anywhere in the internet as I don't believe in its security and privacy.

I had been educated about the Bible since I was I child. I am currently seeking the True church through my quest for knowledge. I hope to understand the God's word so I can correctly judge as which church is the true one.

No I am not here for debate, but is this not a place for discussing bible truths?

Neither am I here for flaming, as you can see in all my posts. My posts contain my opinions in the most sensible and respectful way I can put it. If I did or will post any message that you believe is not respectful, I will try my best not to but just in case, I am sorry.
And I did not and will not post out of hatred nor for the purpose of flaming.

What church do you attend? How old are you? Please tell us about yourself, and your walk with Jesus. I hope and pray that you aren't an actual librarian.

Landover already knows more about you than your mother does. The Lord knows your soul and The Lord speaks to us.

I suspect you are Catholic and as such have never seen the inside of a Bible.

So, leaving John:3:16 aside, what is your favorite Bible verse?

No I am not an actual librarian. I do not attend church at the moment, rather I read the bible in the privacy of my home whilst looking for the True church. I am the range of 20-30. I was a believer since I was a child, learning from the bible, reading passages and discussing with more experienced persons.
I follow Jesus' footsteps as close as I can within my understanding. Continually I strive to learn more and that is what led me to this forum.

I agree, God knows what is in the deepest recesses of everyone's hearts.

I suspect you are Catholic and as such have never seen the inside of a Bible.
I am sorry, but no. I am not a Catholic, never been inside a catholic church before. As for what religion I was affiliated with, please don't guess anymore. I would not like to lie so I would simply answer to future questions about it that "I would rather not say".

I have read the bible a lot of times, but not in its entirety. When I was young I was made to memorize the names of books of the bible in order, a feat that I can no longer do.

So, leaving John:3:16 aside, what is your favorite Bible verse?
I have no "favorite" Bible verse. The bible is to be treated as a whole, without contradiction, without preference which book is better or which verse is we like the best. God gave us his word through the Bible and God's word is absolute, therefore the whole bible is absolute and all equal.
But if pressed, I can say that I like the books of Genesis, Daniel, 1st and 2nd of Kings as well as Chronicles, the Gospels, Proverbs, Songs of Solomon, and Revelations.
Before you misunderstand me, I did not memorize all of their contents, nor do I claim I know all their contents.

Have you though about asking your mother how old you are? She might be able to narrow it down a bit for you.

Does this mean you're in Israel?

Or do you mean you're trying to be like Jesus? He didn't say to be like Him; He said to obey Him.

He's the King. We don't get to be like Him.

Welcome aboard, Libertarian! You Libertarians are alright in my book, just as long as you get with the program on election day and vote a straight Republican ticket all across the board! Just please don't expect us to entertain any of your nonsense about "privacy" or legalizing drugs, and I'm sure we'll on famously!

Tell us, how many children do you have? Is your husband a Libertarian too? What would you say is your greatest challenge when it comes to keeping your home nice and neat for him?

                  Re: Introduction of the Librarian

You call yourself "librarian" but you don't work in a library.

You tell us you aren't here to debate, but you counter every single point with ill-conceived retorts and thinly-veiled animosity.

You say you aren't here to flame, but you've been passive-aggressive from the get-go.

You claim to be seeking a church, but your intentions reveal otherwise.

You tell us you've been taught about the Bible from childhood, but you show no true discernment of its contents.

You're scared to say your name, you don't know how old you are, and apparently you're more concerned with your opinions than your eternal salvation.

My conclusion: you are a phony baloney.

Now, how about a little honesty? I believe you owe it to us. Drop the veil.

(Proverbs 12:19) "The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment. "

                  Yours in Christ,

Exactly what I was thinking, brother. He is a LIAR! And we all know what the Bible KJV1611 has to say about LIARS! Here is just a few select verses -

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Proverbs 14:5 A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.

Proverbs 13:5 A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.

Exodus 23:1 Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.

Romans 3:13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips
