Less drastic than sprouting them from primeval slime.

Breeding desired characteristics is impossible then, unless one restricts oneself to the characteristics you desire.

I don't suppose you understand what that means. God is no longer creating birds. All creation was finished by day 5 except for humans (day 6) and rest (day 7) if He was planning to create any new birds, say on day 105, He would not have explained to us that He'd finished His creation which He did here:
Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. KJV

Despite my having presented strong evidence, the word of The Creator Himself, that all the birds were created in 1 day, wings and all (however drastic a change requiring infinite time according to you that may be, compared to whatever wingless ancestor you imagine they "descended" from) you contine:

Also, are you implying that the Lord is incapable of doing what from a human perspectve is a "drastic" change to say the least in 1 day?

That's just silly! That would mean at family reunions, some families would be humans and some would be apes. Have you ever heard of such a thing?

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

          SHHHHHHH........

Don't tell the scientists, because we all know that Tommy Long knows more about the Bible than any Christian and knows more about science than any scientist.

You took the short bus to your "special" school, didn't you.

Let me assure you that you will not be finding anything "hilarious" once Jesus wads you up and casts you into hell. Satan will peel you like a grape and use you as his favorite party ewe.

Though Jesus and I will find that hilarious.

Please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.

And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.

I will pray that the Holy Spirit enter you and chase the demons out of your rectum and let Jesus fill you with His Grace. If you use your God-given free will to reject Christ and His temporary death on the cross for my sins, then you are sending yourself to hellfire.

                              I LIKE YOU???

If that's all you have to say, you are on the wrong website friend-o. I'm sure there are plenty of gay chat rooms on the internets you can slaver over to find what you are looking for.

If you are here to find Salvation, please follow the Pastor's advice about a proper introduction in the proper thread.

Is it not possible that evolution answers the question of how and not of why? I do not believe in God but I could understand if people who do, see evolution as a tool of God. If you believe in God and that what is said in the Bible is true do you HAVE to believe that evolution does not happen? Could it not be possible for God to have started evolution with as goal the creation of everything we see around us now? In the end the bible is written not by god himself but by apostles and as they where men of flesh and blood is it not possible that we should not take the Bible literally?
