For my personal avatar, I chose the more contemporary image of the Buddy Christ, only because one of my favorite brainworms is the hymn, "Tell it to Jesus". The precious words describes my daily walk with my Lord because I'm walking and talking with him constantly, or when I just feel like skipping down "the path of righteousness, for His namessake" (Psalm 23:3), and sharing my deepest darkest secrets with my best buddy forever (BBF) ... it goes:

After some prayer, I decided to change my avatar to a real picture of myself. Although I just went Straight-4-Jesus© and I i'm totally in love with my , I realize my wretched sinful nature and risking Hell-fire is not worth the sacrilege.

"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5)

My iniquities and transgressions temporarily killed my . Eternity is no laughing matter, and the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).

Well young man, you do seem to be sincere in your fervent repentance for your filthy sin. I know the struggle out of gayness and misery all too well, having spent most of my adult life coupled to anonymous strange men.

This should help you in your new life of serving Jesus Christ, and avoiding the impulse to "ride the pipe". Stay strong, and I will be praying with you. I am proud of you, so far.

I would not sully this Godly place with pictures of my womanhood. I was brought up to believe in modesty and I know how heavy is the burden of Eve's First Sinning. This is no place to be inflaming manly lust and fornication and I would rather willingly submit to my husband's leather, than go against his word.

On other forums, it's like totalllllllllly confusing when you're like talking with somebody and you're trying to picture what they look like and everything, and their avatar is the three eyed fish from the Simpsons!

So anyways, this is really me in my avatar. I wish JESUS had made me cuter, like Miss April or Felicity, but He did let me be a True Christian™, and that's pretty cool!

I agree. Anyone using anything from the Simpsons is clearly a disgusting unevolved pig who has no sense of humor. Everyone knows American Dad is better, since it depicts Conservatives like us, and not HOMOSEXUALS. American Dad shows the value of fatherhood and going to CHURCH. The only real flaw is the appearance of the CIA, which tortures CHRISTIANS like us, instead of the terrorists they were hired to attack.

I've not used my photo as an avatar because it would be unfair to other people who don't fit western standards of attractiveness as well as I do. We should all be of equal attractiveness, and I'm not yet ready to make myself uglier with surgery.

I'd be willing to use a fake avatar to represent myself if I found a good one. Any recommendations?
