Friends, The questions on everyone’s lips today are, “Why do so-called scientists bother to get out of bed in the morning?” and “Global Warming: Is it rubbish or what?”
The first thing to say is that CO2 is cast as the devil in the equation. But what do we know of the origins of this ubiquitous substance? Being True Christians, you probably know it better as “Dephlogistonated air” but let’s humor the scientists for the moment.
SCIENTIFIC FACTS?
So-called scientists say that the consumption of terrestrial vegetation by animals and by microbes (i.e. rotting) emits about 220 gigatonnes of CO2 every year, while respiration by vegetation emits another 220 Gt. Similarly, the oceans release about 330 Gt of CO2 per year.
Our studies show that globally, volcanoes on land and under the sea release a total of about 200 million tonnes of CO2 annually.
All this gets absorbed by the seas and the trees or else, in the 6,000years man has been around, the heavens would have been all CO2
So-called scientists estimate that human created emissions of CO2 are about 26.4 Gt per year, up from 23.5 Gt in the 1990s.
About 40% of the extra CO2 entering the atmosphere due to human activity is being absorbed by natural carbon sinks, mostly by the seas and trees.
So we get:
Animals and plants = ~220,000,000,000 Tons
The sea = ~330,000,000,000Tons
Volcanoes = ~200,000,000 Tons
Total = ~550,200,000,000Tons
Human activity = ~26,000,000,000Tons. 40% of this = ~10,400,000,000T not absorbed.
So we now divide 10,400,000,000 by 550,200,000,000 = 104 by 5,502 = 1.89% as the human contribution.
Less than 2%! Since when has “Less than 2%” made any difference to anything?
SUMMARY
For the idiots who will come to say that a rough guess of somewhere about the region of 1.89% is the End of Times for us all, let me point out that the killing words in the so-called scientists’ published theories are “estimate” and “about”.
We are looking at a near certainty that their estimates (and that is all that they are) are themselves 1.89% out. In which case we have added nothing, or if we have, it doesn’t matter.
CONCLUSION
So, let’s get down to the FACTS!
1. We can thus dismiss so-called science, as we always do.
2. There is no Global Warming with God:
Ge:3:8: And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
Note that He did not walk on “an unusually warm day for the time of year” neither did He walk on “The hottest day since records began.” Nope! Every day was just right.
3. Does heat affect the True Christian? No:
Da:3:19: Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.
Da:3:20: And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
Da:3:21: Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
Da:3:22: Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego.
Da:3:23: And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
Da:3:26: Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
Simple – It is the Godless who feel the heat, not the believer. It is God’s punishment for sin! A little taste of Hellfire for the sinner – time to repent I think!
