  • Why Does God Not Prevent Natural Disasters? He Does!!

Dear Brethren and Sisters in Christ, Jesus Son of God our Savior, Sweet Baby Jesus who's going to Save us and allow us Entry into Heaven!

Many sinners often ask me the question about apparently random destruction, volcanic eruptions, floods, etc. They usually formulate this ignorant and spiteful claim as follows:

"Why does God allow natural disasters, i.e. earthquakes, hurricanes, and tsunamis?"

They may seem to ask you this in an innocent manner but, in fact, they're trying to mock Jesus. They are either i) trying to prove that God either would not exist (ridiculous claim) or that ii) He would not care for innocent lives as he allows millions of children and sinners to perish in agony because the Earth trembles. The second idea is superficially quite plausible: A perfectly Good God would intervene and protect His Creations against the forces of nature that He Himself has Created and Controls.

On further reflection, the second claim is also only an example of the ignorance and willful resistance to the Call of Jesus. The Truth™ is: God prevents natural disasters all the time. He redirects the waters of the Floods He has Created. He calms down earthquakes and volcanoes on a constant basis. The actual disasters that DO occur are only the tip of the iceberg compared to the billions of potential events that God initiates every single living moment but prevents before they cause havoc.

We are just incapable of discerning the disasters that were prevented because they were prevented and thus never took place! Here we can see devastation caused by God but prevented by God in many locations.

    The evidence:

    1. If God wished, He could cover the whole Earth with water (Genesis 7:22). Because He is often too Merciful (Jonah 4:2), He prevents this from happening.

    2. God DOES let the disasters run their course when it is necessary or He just chooses to do so. There are several examples of His Work in the Bible:
    Deuteronomy 11:17
And then the LORD'S wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you.

    Numbers 16:30
But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.
We can clearly see that this is Punishment. When the sinners deserve the agony of an earthquake or drowning in Oceanic Waters, God does not hesitate to refrain from preventing the events. After all, His Manifestation Jesus Christ is the entity that holds all Creation together. Hence, He can also let partially go and open chasms into the belly of the Earth to swallow the sinners who ALWAYS deserve what they get!
    Colossians 1:16-17
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
    3. We also know that human intervention by Prayer can change God's mind when it comes to the prevention of natural disasters that are Designed and Created by Him and Prevented by Him.
    James 5:17
Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
Verily, God controls all aspects of the "natural world". He can cause havoc and He can prevent suffering. However, as unbiased Creation Scientists and Christians®, we must examine all available information to see if the disasters are really targeted at sinners and if the more pious nations are spared. This means that we have to find a suitable database of events that should affect all nations in an equal manner but if they don't, supernatural intervention is the only remaining explanation. A very good model to study this are the disasters around the Pacific ocean. If gigantic waves are formed in this basin, they should spread in an equal manner to all directions: Godly USA, Communist Canada, Papist Mexico and South America, Muslimist Indonesia, atheist Japan, and Godly Russia.

To assess this, we have examined the incidence of tsunamis between 2000-2015 around the Pacific. The results confirm our suspicions. God prevents the Godlier nations from suffering too much. Let us see (name of the nation followed by the number of tsunami events 2000-2015):
    • Japan: 13
    • Indonesia: 13
    • Chile, Peru, Mexico etc.: 9
    • Canada: 2
    • New Zealand: 2
    • Godly Russia: 3-4
    • Godly USA: 3-4
    • Obscure Pacific Islands: many but who cares?

Now, the very high incidence of these events in Japan, Indonesia (Muslim papists) and the Mexicoes needs no further clarification. However, you may ask about the relatively high numbers of tsunamis in the Godly USA and Putin's Russia. Is there reason for concern? Not really! The tsunamis in the US and Russian regions occurred either in California (for very good reasons mostly caused by the neglect of Leviticus 18:22). In addition, they took place either in the Aleutian Islands (USA) or the Kuril Islands (Russia). This means that God REDIRECTED the few tsunamis that would have landed on Godly soil into areas with negligible population mostly consisting of diverse heathen aboriginals.

The most Bible-believing States were spared.

All Pacific should receive tsunamis equally. Atheist and false believers receive them much more than God-fearing Americans. The tsunamis that should have hit American soil are either Prevented or Redirected.

THIS would have happened decades ago if God did not hold His hand and cancel the disasters He Creates on a constant basis!

Of course, God allows a freak storm or a hurricane every now and then to land on the East coast to remind the nation of His powers. That is only common sense and the collateral damage is irrelevant compared to the souls Saved. However, if God did not prevent the disasters, the whole American continent would be covered with volcanic ash, floodwaters and tephra. It is not. We can see that these disasters never took place because God cancelled them!

Brethren, now you know how to answer this irritating question. It will leave the atheists speechless and probably convert quite a few of them into True Christianity™ (Ecclesiastes 12:13).

    Yours in Christ,

    Elmer

An excellent and typically scholarly explanation, Brother. God is responsible for everything that happens, as everyone knows, but God is also responsible for everything that doesn't happen.

With respect to tsunamis, I have prayed mightily for the complete destruction of godless California and the rest of the West Coast. There can be no doubt that the Lord God is furious with those heathens and that they are dangling over the fiery pit. Their immersion is only a matter of time.

Thank you for that daily bread, Dr White.

The coming tribulation will be the worst suffering the world has ever seen. God will lovingly intervene by destroying the world with fire (Second Peter 3:10). He must have been intervening throughout this period of Grace to keep the number of earthquakes, famines and wars down so that when the end times finally came, we would know.

Matthew 24:21-22: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Even when God brings catastrophe, I believe it is often a form of preventive intervention. Think how much worse the world would have been if God hadn't sent the flood to destroy the Nephilim and Cain's descendants. Think about how much worse the world would have been if God hadn't sent fire and brimstone to destroy the fags of Sodom and Gomorrah. And think about how much worse the world will be if God doesn't sent fire to destroy it - no flesh will be saved!

This is precisely why no True Christian(tm) is the least bit concerned about "the environment." We don't argue about "global warmings." We couldn't care less if the air is dirty or the water is dirty.

We don't care about all of these things, because once Christ Jesus returns, He will clean up everything with the huge flaming sword sticking out of His mouth. Glory!!!
        Who Will Jesus Damn?

          Hello Elmer G. White.

Hurricane Wilma went over my house in 2005 but she did not hurt me because Jesus provided me with hurricane shutters that roll up into the wall I was reading the Bible right after that look at Psalms 125:2 it says:

As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

We do not have mountains to protect us in Florida but we have hurricane shutters not the colored people in Riviera Beach though.

          Thank you.

The white man is racist for not sharing his storm shutters with the Black man.

Black people, my dear, are stupid for not praying to God:

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

              Prayer
