  • Should We Pray for Rachel Dolezal?

I read THIS today and I have mixed emotions. I know Christ wants us to be compassionate and all, but my dilemma lies in the fact that she still identifies as black. To me, that's like a boy identifying as a girl or vice versa and that opens up the issue of whether there should be black and white bathrooms.

Should we pray she becomes an ex-black, pray for her soul, or both? We are loving and welcoming folk here at LBC and I just want to do the right thing. Thoughts?
    Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
    Amen and Amen

Indeed, this poor confused soul is truly troubling.

    But identifying herself as "trans-black"?

I don't know whether to laugh or cry, honestly.
God created fossils to test our faith.

I'd choose neither. If I were praying for anyone involved, it would be for her parents to see the error of their ways, repent, and come to Jesus. By adopting 4 nigra children into the family, they appear to have caused confusion - understandable in the case of this woman, who seems to be several colors short of a rainbow. It's one thing - a very admirable thing - to sponsor a niglet, enabling him or her to stay in Africa. It's quite another to invite them to live as one (or in this case 4) of the family.

A few points rational people need to consider.

The person is a female, how much effort should be expended on her? She has not bore children for Jesus and therefore, no value.

She is a white woman who wants to be a black woman. That is completely backwards. Who in their right mind wants to be inferior? Jesus in His Loving Manner(tm), has taught us to follow His Magnificent Word(c) and strive to be better. Apparently, the Devil has bedded down in this females rectum and turned her away from what is Holy, decent and right.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
