  • Henry Louis Gates Jr. guilty of assaulting Police officer:

I'm sure everyone has heard about the confrontation between the Harvard professor and the police officer who came to his aid. The poor guy, a dedicated civil servant, is now in the 'hot-seat' for not tolerating the racial abuse hurled at him by a so-called professor of African-American studies. Even the president is ganging up against the guy.

This just proves what I've been saying since inauguration day: Now that Obama is president you can't tell black people what to do anymore. Even if you're trying to help them they don't want to hear it. They're just more likely to raise a stink and call the race-card, because they know that Obama will back them up.

May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

No one should ever abuse an Officer Of The Law...ever! Officers Of The Law dedicate their lives to keeping the public safe. These Hometown Heroes, like my wonderful husband Officer Richards, deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. These uppity nigras are the ones who need to be beaten down.

Well the boy is obviously guilty. Just look at him.

Re: Henry Louis Gates Jr. guilty of assaulting Police officer:

As a personal friend of Professor Gates and a fellow professor of African-American studies, I am the most qualified to speak on this horrible racist scandal. Professor Gates was the victim of brutal racism on behalf of a white police officer; nothing more, nothing less. There was absolutely no crime committed whatsoever, only the appearance of the crime since Professor Gates is black.

The reason why Obama (and the rest of America who have IQs above 100) are supporting Gates is because he was clearly an innocent man, a victim of racial profiling and police brutality. Now for those of you who want to read the truth about what happened, I will post here an article from Leonard Pitts, Jr., an African-American syndicated columnist. .

The Henry Louis Gates Jr. incident: Sometimes, they just don't see you

One of the most frustrating verities of African-American life, writes columnist Leonard Pitts Jr., is that others look your way but see their fears, their preconceptions, their stereotypes — everything except the one and only you. That's what happened to Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr.

Please take a good look at Dr. Henry Louis Gates Jr.

He is 5-foot-7, weighs 150 pounds, wears glasses and uses a cane. His legs are of unequal length, his mustache and goatee are gray. He is 58 years old and looks it.

It's important to see Gates — scholar, author, documentarian, Harvard University professor and African-American man — because that's what Sgt. James Crowley of the Cambridge, Mass. police department apparently did not do in the July 16 confrontation that has ignited debate about racial bias in the U.S. "justice" system.

For the three of you who do not know: The incident began when Gates, returning home from a trip to China, found his front door jammed. When he and his driver tried to force it, a neighbor, thinking it a burglary in progress, did the right thing and called police. Crowley responded, finding the driver gone and Gates inside. There are two versions of what happened next.

Police say Gates refused to comply with Crowley's order to step outside, initially would not identify himself and became belligerent, yelling that Crowley, who is white, is a racist, that he didn't know who he was messing with and that this was only happening because Gates is black.
Gates says he promptly produced his driver's license and Harvard ID, that the officer refused to provide his name and badge number, and that he could not have yelled anything because he has a severe bronchial infection.

This much is not in dispute: Gates was arrested "after" providing proof he was lawfully occupying his own home. The police report says he was "exhibiting loud and tumultuous behavior in a public place." That being his own front porch. Small wonder the charge has been dropped.
And here, Sgt. Crowley's defenders would want you to know he is not some Central Casting redneck, but an experienced officer who has led diversity workshops.

On the other hand, Gates is hardly Sister Souljah himself. Rather, he is a man who did the things African Americans are always advised to do — work hard, get a good education, better yourself, only to discover that in the end, none of it saved him. In the end, he still winds up standing on his front porch with his wrists shackled, just like any drug dealer or carjacker anywhere.

Because sometimes, they just don't see you. It's one of the most frustrating verities of African-American life. Sometimes you simply know: they are looking your way but seeing their fears, their preconceptions, their stereotypes, that other black guy who did them wrong — everything except the one and only you.

By definition, racism denies individuality and preconceptions leave us blind, making it possible for even a man who leads diversity training to look at a small, graying scholar and see a menace to society. If Gates was loud and agitated, common sense says Crowley should've simply removed the source of the agitation — himself. Problem solved.

Instead, he called for backup(!) and took Gates into custody. And if Gates looked like a lawbreaker to James Crowley, well, to me he looks like former Los Angeles Lakers star Jamaal Wilkes, pulled over because the tags on his car were "about to" expire; like clean-shaven, 6-foot-4 businessman Earl Graves Jr., detained by police searching for a mustachioed 5-foot-10 suspect; like Amadou Diallo, executed while reaching for his wallet.
And like me, with hands up and a rifle trained on my chest by an officer who later claimed he stopped me in that predominantly white neighborhood for a traffic violation.

Because I look like Henry Louis Gates, he looks like Jamaal Wilkes, and we all look like some dangerous, predatory black man intent on mayhem. So there is no shock here — only a sobering reminder that the old canard is, at some level, true. We all look alike.

Re: Henry Louis Gates Jr. guilty of assaulting Police officer:

I don't understand why blacks are so distrusting of the police. The main reason police officers arrest black people that haven't committed a crime is because blacks are unpredictable and feral and the only way we can prevent them from doing something stupid like raping a woman or robbing a bank is by preemptively arresting them and keeping them in jail so they won't accidentally commit a crime. It's for their own good, to keep them safe.

You also know that even if he was not committing a crime right at that point in time, he has in the past. It is just the law catching up with him. Also, you know for sure he was acting belligerent, hes' a nigra after all, they all are foul mouthed.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

For anybody out there claiming this is racism, listen up:

Put yourself in our shoes. You're an Officer of the Law, your job is to protect the community and people you love.

You see a colored boy in a fancy neighborhood picking the lock on a house that statistics say couldn't be his. What do you do? I'll tell you what I'd do, I'd flash my lights, tackle the negro, put a knee on his head and cuff him, that's what I'd do.

You can't be reasonable with these people, they are complete savages. It's different when you're dealing with one of your own when you can talk like adults, but all a black man can say is "I din do nuthin' wrong officer!"

This is his real point of view. This is the first time that he was not reading nothing.

I'll pray for the police, now the crime is not alone. There are two big enemies and those guys needs our Faith.

More white stereotypes and persecution by the black race. It seems to me that Obama may need to attend a course in racial profiling.

"THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS TO BLACK PEOPLE IN AMERICA." - Gates

Yes, indeed, Mr. Gates, This is what happens to black people in America. In America, when black people's homes are seen being broken into, the police come to rescue those black people's homes. This is what happens to black people in America.

Then the black people whose homes have been protected get angry at the police who came to their rescue, even to the point of following them around, onto public property, where they create an unlawful disturbance. Then the police protect the black people's niebourhood from unlawful disturbances with (temporary) arrests. This is what happens to black people in America.

How can we solve the problem? There are two solutions. One solution is for police to stop protecting the property and niebourhoods of black people. Allow black homes to be burglarized, allow unlawful disturbances in niebourhoods where black people live. Actually, this is already done in lower-income black niebourhoods ("ghettos") where the black people are angry at the police because they DON'T arrest enough black criminals.

Another solution is for black people to stop having temper tantrums at the drop of a hat. We could achieve this by having less "Black History" classes taught by "Black History" professors, which only fill otherwise sane people with rage over ancient historical grievances (Yes, some people believe that the world needs more historical grievances - Israel/Palestine and Ireland just aren't enough for them).

I've been mistaken for a criminal before. I've been a suspect, and I've been interrogated. Is it because I've got fair hair and blue eyes? Maybe. Maybe it's also because police are there to defend me, against all threats - yes, even threats from people with fair hair and blue eyes. Even people who look just like me. And you know what I say? "This is how they treat white people in America?" No, I say "Thank you".
