    Is Youtube Evil?

    I believe it is. Just listen to these astounding statistics...

    According to this site (http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/06/09...-1-billionday/) www.youtube.com streams over 1.2 BILLION videos per day. This number is frightening when you take into account that there are only 2.1 billion CHRISTIANS in the world (http://www.adherents.com/Religions_By_Adherents.html). And that number doesn't take into account the egregious number of non-true Christians that unfortunately inhabit God's green Earth. Number's this large can only mean one thing:

    Youtube is trying to replace Christianity.

    Discuss your thoughts in light of this clear, God-given evidence.

      if you watch a christian song on youtube, and refresh the site 10 times to hear the song 10 times, that's 10 videos for 1 person. Also if you browse a lot of videos, just start it and leave after 2 seconds because you don't like it, you have "steamed one video". This number adds up and you can easily reach over 500 videos a day in a few short hours of browsing.

      Those statistics are hugely biased.

      Please remember, Islamic countries (Middle east) forbit youtube, china forbids youtube. In Africa there is barely any internet connection to view youtube. So basically you have The North/South american continent, Europe and some countriey like japan/S.korea/singapour watch youtube. This eliminated about 90% of non-christian population of the world.

        Well, if you visit youtube, you will find that there is indeed something terribly wrong.

        The first thing I did was do a search for "Jesus Christ". If you want to repeat this experiment, do so with caution. The first hit is a Musical, an obvious attempt at homersexualization of the Savior. Second hit... song about Jesus with a pretty face? Third hit... Obama mocks Jesus Christ. The list goes on and on.

        Now fasten your seatbelt and have a barf bag nearby as you do a search for "Jesus Christ parody" or "Jesus Christ gay".

        Clearly, the majority of videos on youtube are a mockery of our Savior.

        Be wary of false Kumbaya Christians who use a highlighter and scissors to read the Bible. God wants us to read the lines, not between the lines. False Christians will go to Hell:
        Matthew 7:22         Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
        Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

        Asking a Christian to prove God exists is like asking him to prove his phone rings because yours doesn't. Make that call yourself! Dial 0800-get-on-your-knees-and-pray.

          YouTube was created by Satan as a tool to spread witchcraft and atheism, but Christians are fighting back by using his own weapon against him!
          I'm a subscriber to Jezuzfreek777 but still watch him warily as I'm NOT a fan of the way he spells Jesus' name and suspect he may be a secret atheist trying to lay a trap for True Christians(tm).
          VenomFangX was doing fine it seemed but was too weak in his faith as he allowed the devil-worshipping atheists to drive him away.
          The Faithful Word Baptist Church may be a little too much on the liberal side, but Pastor Sanderson still manages to share some great sermons.
          But my favourite has to be The Way of the Master, the channel run by two of the greatest Christians of all time, Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron. Between just the two of them, the debunked theory of evilution is on the run with its monkey tail between its ape legs!
          If you're looking for a toe-tapping good time and just want to relax listening to some great music, you can't go wrong with Best Loved Hymns.
          Then there are the two guaranteed safest channels on YouTube. Our very own Official Landoverbaptist.net channel, and - thanks to the kind and generous permission from my husband, Mr. Whitford, to put the time and prayer into it, my own channel... Mrs. Whitford Witnesses.

          So let the Not-So "Amazing" Atheists, English fops, Russian trollops, and other assorted God-haters rant on! Christians (except for VenomFangX) are there to fight them every step of the way!

                tube = colloqueal for television.

                youtube = your private television where you can make your own movies.

                  if pastor ezekiel manages to convince me that youtube has a sexual connotation i will instantly delety my account and leave on good terms.

                  Your warnings show intolerance. Teach me instead of punishing me. Didn't Jesus cure the blind or the crippled? Won't you cure my soul instead of stepping on it with your boots?

                    What is the first thing youngsters do when they get a device capable of making movies? That's right, making of their private parts. But they do not realize that once they put their private parts on the internet, it is impossible to get it off. Then there are pederfiles downloading their private movies and doing things that cause the child's sin meter to go all the way into the red zone.

                      private television does not mean "private parts".

                      I have never met anyone who would se so much sex in the world as you. It is a place where you can out music videos, bible texts or prayers if you like. You can put anything on youtube you like.

                      The violence and nudity are of course moderated and deleted from youtube. Sonemtimes it takes a few days but they do clean it all up.

                          Thank you sister for such a well thought out response. I will investigate the channels you have so graciously listed and shall begin to fight the good fight to take back Youtube from the heathens.
