Atheists are unfit parents. Ban atheist parenting!

We've known for years that allowing atheists to raise children is child abuse. While a small handful say they "won't preach atheism" to their child, and "let him decide for himself when he's older", we all know the truth. They will not teach the child the Bible; they will teach moral relativism. When the child is "older", he won't be able to reconcile the vile secular humanist values he's been raised to believe in with God's absolute Justice and objective Law.

The child ends up Hellbound because of his parents! And maybe worse . . .

Our new member Dolores told us a horrifying story. She was raised by atheist parents, who apparently forced her into lesbianism!

I was, unfortunately, raised in an atheist household, by heathen parents. I was never allowed near a church, but, I've been afflicted with the curse of homosexuality, and I feel that God is my only savior.

She is the perfect poster-woman for our campaign to ban atheist parents.

The question is, where do we start?

We could start small, saying that in divorces, the Christian parent should always get the children. Or maybe by declaring atheists unfit as adoptive or foster parents. You know, like many states already do with the gays, because atheists are just like gays, always trying to "recruit" into their deathstyle.

But what about the atheists who take enough time away from their drug-fueled sodomorgies to get pregnant and have their own children that they somehow forget to abort and eat?

Those children deserve protection too, don't they?

I hate the thought of waiting a single day, and letting one more child stay in an atheist household!

Parenting licenses would solve all of this.

If everybody were required to take a standardized test to receive a parenting license upon reaching fertility, all this trouble could be avoided.

People who tested positive as atheists would be denied licenses, and if they tried to be cute and have babies behind the Christian government's back, their children would be promptly removed and place in the custody of True Christians.

Repeat offenders would be subject to sterilization.

Is it best to start with banning them from having children, or to focus first on denying them jobs like teachers or public servants?

Hey, the Constitution says we can't discriminate on the basis of religion. But as atheists often remind us, not believing in God is a religion as much as not collecting stamps is a hobby.

It's not a religion, thus not protected.

As a professional who works in the juvenile court system (where social services removes children from abusive parents), I can tell you with confidence that the more religious a family is, the more likely they are to have their children removed due to neglect or abuse. I have personally witnesses many cases where the parents defended their actions by using their religious beliefs - and no, they were not muslim but largely christian baptist. Additionally, I have never seen atheist OR gay parents brought into court by DSS. You state a fact with no proof to back it up; your statement is therefore merely an opinion. So why are you so hateful?

Wow. I am not one to toot my own horn, but I can make an exception. I am an atheist parent and most people wouldn't even suspect it.( I am not overly vocal about it) My children are the "most behaved, considerate, respectful" children their teachers have seen in a "long time" and they wish they had a "room full of them" (quotes are from the teachers). I do not let them watch sponge bob, hannah montana, or watch movies that are not G rated. When I "came out" as an atheist to my evangelical neighbor, she was completely shocked and said, "but you're more conservative than me!" I am NOT raising them to be atheists, in fact my father who is an elder in his church, and my mother who is also quite active in numerous other ways, are allowed to say prayers with them. My daughter who is 8 has already said she does not believe, while her twin brother says he does. I do not try to sway him against god, but answer his questions in an age appropriate way, while also encouraging him to ask questions of his own. It makes me sad to know that in your opinion, christian parents like Casey Anthony, Andrea Yates, Otty Snachez, and many others, are better parents than me, simply because they label themselves as "Christian". Yikes!

Actually SCOTUS has defined atheism as a "religion" for purposes of protection, so although atheists do not consider it a religion, it has been legally defined as one so that it falls under that umbrella.

If you don't believe that Jesus died temporally for our sins to save us from Himself how can you possibly experience any emotion other that base lust and rage?

Our family is anything but cold and loveless. On warm summer nights we sit outside and look at the planets through our HUGE telescope. We marvel at the beauty and wonder of the Universe. We share hugs and kisses and quiet moments that mean more to me than anything. I do not need Jesus to feel emotions other than lust and rage, the emotion of love is found in many animal species besides the human species. (dolphins, monkies) It is a natural instinct. I could never feel this Rage you speak of because I believe in loving everything, no matter if a book tells you to hate it. My children are not mindless! Souless, yes...we all are. They are brilliant individuals (accepted into the gifted program at school) So of course I would not care if my children will soon be engaging in gaywise sexualism...I would love them to pieces no matter what...even if they chose christianity!
