Fair point, but 'Cripples' can't choose to be cripples, whereas homosexuals can choose whether or not to be homosexuals. What if you became a cripple through an accident or you were BORN with a disablity? Would you deserve to go to hell any more than anyone else? This forum seems to be full of people misinterpreting all kinds of scripture.

How are we misinterpreting scripture? If these cripples were good people, they could pray and God would heal them!

Why would Jesus heal a cripple if it was okay to be one? Jesus can heal homos*xuals, but that doesn't mean you can hang around committing sodomy at truck stop restrooms.

I have a decision to make tonight and could do with some advice. I have just walked past a local Church and they have just installed a wheelchair ramp!! Obviously I am outraged and I don't want cripples turning up and mocking God.


Leviticus 21:16 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.
For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,
Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded, Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken.


But it is very dark and quiet there so I could chop it up overnight so they can't get in for Sunday service. They would all be stuck outside and we are due very heavy rain

But Jesus says I have to follow secular law.

Mathew 22:21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.

Do I have to follow secular law if there is no chance of getting caught? Obviously morally the right thing to do is to chop it up and I would just like to stop this outrage if possible.

Probably the best compromise would be a visit tonight with a Sawz-all. A few strategic cuts in supporting timbers; not all the way through, but enough to reduce integrity by 90 percent.

This way, as the drooling retard is being pushed up the ramp, the entire structure should collapse as he nears the top, praise Jesus! Any remaining gimps making their way toward the church will flee.

Interesting. So you say there are two punishments, the first being the actual affliction they suffer in the here and now and the second being in the after-life. I might add a third, which is the incessant yammering coming from the christians who like to talk about how god hates them. As an atheist I would say stop all the whining and just use the nuclear option provided legally by the US Government - abortion. I believe my option is much more humane. You are likely more kind to your dogs than you are to your "cripples".

Now if the cripples do something particularly vile like commit murder, rape a married woman, work on a Sunday, or have s*x with an animal for example, then yes, they should be sent to the gas chamber. However, God is so loving He expects us to wait until they've broken those laws first, and only if those laws are the law of the land.
