We all realize that there lots of things you might want to say about some storybook Jesus. But True Christians™ only concern themselves with the real Jesus, evidenced by the 1611 King James Bible. We are not the least bit interested in anything you might have to say about your storybook Jesus. Sadly you can't even have him do your lawn because you made him up.

And how very dishonest of you to leave out the most important part of the Hebrews passage (highlighted in red) thus giving the impression that God's Word says that Jesus sins. I guess glossing over the word likeness really can't be considered so much as dishonesty as it is imbecility.

By the way, when are you going to stop avoiding my previous posts? Obviously your imagined brilliance fails you when you have to deal with facts.

I get so tired of false Christians and atheists claiming we are not.

In fact, the Bible more often preaches on perfection and holiness than the idea that we are all worthless sinners.

Psalm 119:1-4 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.

Here God tells Abraham that perfection is achievable.

Genesis 17:1 I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

I can hear some panties getting into a twist over these scriptures. Perhaps you think, that's Old Testament. The Bible says, "for all have sinned." That was prior to our Salvation. I would like to draw your attention to:

1 John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

How could we not be perfect if Jesus himself admonishes us to be perfect?

Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

In the Book of Luke, Jesus tells us that in becoming perfect, we are like God.

Luke 6:40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.

In many of the Epistles, the authors tell us that we are perfect and can be "unblameable in holiness," like our Master Who is in Heaven.

1 Thessalonians 3:13 To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

Colossians 1:22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

Colossians 1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

1 Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Philippians 3:15Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

And most importantly,

I don't know about you, but I feel pretty darn good knowing I am PERFECT without sin or blemish. I can't wait until we sit on the right hand of God himself and judge the world come rapture time, my perfect brothers and sisters.

I wanted to add a list of a few perfect people in the Bible besides Jesus for those you who don't believe there was anyone else who was ever perfect.

Luke 1:5-6 THERE was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

God speaking to Ezekiel.

Ezekiel 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

David speaking to God.

Psalm 101:2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

And

2 Samuel 22:22-24 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
For all his judgments were before me: and as for his statutes, I did not depart from them.
I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity.

M't:7:19: Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
M't:7:20: Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
M't:7:21: Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
M't:7:22: Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Oh, well I disagree with you in almost everything I've seen you say. I'll go with God though. I don't care what bothers you by the way, and you know nothing about my lifestyle. I could care less if you think I worship satan, I need only to confess that Christ is my savior to go to heaven. If my interpretation of the bible isn't good enough for you, I don't care, it won't effect my salvation. Keep up with your cultist accusations and scripture bending, you won't change my mind no matter what
