Don't you realize that giving up rational thinking, logic and your trust in 99% of the scientists from all over the world, just to stay faithful, means that something is wrong with your believes?

Take a look at the censorship at North-Korea, that's not correct right? How the people are forced to obey the leader without thinking for themselves.

Please consider for yourself why you're not allowed critical thinking, why would your god expect such a thing from you?

God expects things from us for His own reasons.

Why is this idiot trying to say that worshipping God has anything to do with logic? God is to be worshipped because He tells us to over and over in the Bible or we get burned forever. That's just plain common sense.

I'm not sure of your point, although I tentatively agree with your stated premises (to wit: God exists, I know this, it is rational to obey His laws, it is irrational to disobey His laws).

BUT, as Pastors William and Ezekiel have stated, rationality (while admirable in certain cases) is not the issue here. God tells us to do and believe certain things, and so I do.

It's really rather plain and unadorned. Continued efforts to complicate it aren't helping.

You have to understand that he is Finn. He has no idea of the dualistic meaning of the word Logic as formal system to study new things and the common language form that has just the meaning of using information to decide next action.

Same thing with rational thinking. The way we are now referring to it is the "scientific thinking". The problem with the scientific thinking is the fact that it has defined so called Laws of nature that describe our surrounding environment and phenomenons - which in many cases gives us quite precise predictions - but fails in deeper observation just because they fail to take in count the All Mighty God and His power over everything. So we now have things like theory of gravity that in this moment gives us good approximation of speed of atheist hitting the ground after jumping from building. Problem is that if God decides, He can change the rules in any moment, like he has done with rules how long people live. Scientists say that you cannot change something like gravity without everything else failing but they lack the understanding of God. He can do ANYTHING.

That is why rational thinking fails. We try to rationalize things using these rules that actually don't apply. Same with the "logic". It is not logical to someone turn to pillar of salt. Our "scientists" say that it is not rational. But hey, tell that to Lot's wife

4. the rest of your text is basically Humes attack of the causal principle, which I could easily defend with Kant’s defense of it. But since you added that it’s thanks to god, you created something that’s both impossible to prove and disprove. The only way for me to get you to understand why this is incorrect is to make you stop believing in god. But I don't think you guys will ever do that, so it's just unnecessary for me to vast my energy on that. So I'll just drop it.
