And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.
And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God hath given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee:So that the man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave:
So that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he shall eat: because he hath nothing left him in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates.
The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter, And toward her young one that cometh out from between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy gates.

The Lord Commands us in time of need to eat flesh as we see fit. YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS ARE IDEAL.

This is a serious issue that all True Christians need to consider. There are many events that could disrupt the food distribution system of our country:

• war
• acts of god
• pestilence
• (earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, drought)
• terrorism
• lack of gasoline for transporting food
• rising commodity prices
• food contamination

Some of us may not wish to eat our own children, or the children of our neighbors when the famine hits. What do you have planned to get you thru the lean times? Do you have a bomb shelter full of canned goods? Are you rotating them so they are edible when the time comes?

Brother Nobar, it seems to me that the Lord does not say, "may" but says "shalt", which means "must" - so if supplies are getting a bit down, the firstborn will have to be casseroled. It isn't as if there is choice in the matter.

Doubtless the souls of the dear and tasty departed will ascend unto heaven, how else could it be? The eaten will have sustained the righteous. Your family will have fed the hand that bit it.

It would appear that the Lord is here saying – if you eat your family and neighbors,
(a) You will be sustained to fight the enemy without
(b) For each hearty meal there will be one less mouth to feed and thus the chances of survival increase and fewer need to be sliced and diced
(c ) As women and children are less than men in the eyes of the Lord, it is not as if you were really eating people.
(d) It encourages women and children to grow up less bellicose and thus the chance of a siege is so much the less.

You mentioned tinned food - I'm not sure where or if you can obtain tinned long-pork, so canning the stuff yourself may be an option but this presents difficulties at a time when secular law enforcement is opposed to Biblical Laws.

My assumption thus is that if you feel canned long-pork would be encompassed God's command, then as fevered mahyem, looting, rioting, etc breaks out, this would be the time I would be looking from that Godless oaf of a 14 year old who ran his keys down the side of my SUV and towards my DIY canning kit.

It may be useful to keep records of the weight of your family, such that cooking times and temperatures can be adjusted as well as a schedule for their making a gastronomic sacrifice.

I would suggest a good Burgundy with brunettes and a fine Sauvignon blanc for the fairer skinned.

Most people are going to be hesitant to eat their children, especially if some pre-planning will allow a complete family to have plenty of food during the lean times. Neglecitng the collection of non-perishables in the hopes of surviving off your children's flesh is rather short sided. Who is going to further your lineage? Obviously if ALL food runs out you might need to consider alternative meals (kid stew), but realistically, it would benefit all True Christians to have a survival plan and plenty of supplies on hand.

There's always the bounty of a mother's milk. If the mother has passed or is too old, a healthy supply of daughters will keep a family well nourished with this godly fluid.

That's why a good True Christian™ Man should take a healthy wife and sire 10 or 12 Christian babies. You never know when you might need extra provisions. And God HAS asked this of us before.

"So we boiled my son, and did eat him." Women killed, boiled and ate their own children because of a plague that God sent, or as the Bible puts it: "Behold, this evil is of the Lord." 2Kings 6:28-29, 33

But that a woman should dare to turn against her husband? Pastor, this is very disturbing to me! I understand the necessity of consuming offspring, but the idea of even looking at Mr. Thyme with anything approaching thoughts of, "He's what's for dinner" is inconceivable!

I have found a useful site. This should take the worry out of the number of family and friends you need to keep an eye on.
