you're not here to spoon feed me, or you have no spoon from which to feed?
you have one bible verse, which you have twisted into a revelation of the shape of the earth. A shape which blatantly contradicts any modern science, observations, or common sense.
I need no saving. I know the bible and I sure as shit know Matthew 4:8. I know my God, I pray to him, I pray to his son Jesus, and I pray to them through Mary, who intercedes on my behalf
Rather, it is you flat earth believers who need saving. Saving from the ridiculous lie you have told yourselves. Ive tried to spoon feed you. You shoved the spoon on the floor.

Contents1 Scripture1.1 I. The Earth Does Not Move1.2 II. The Sun, Moon and Stars Move2 Tradition / Church Fathers Scripture Geocentrism is the view that the earth is the center of the universe, and that the universe (sun, moon, stars, planets) revolves around the earth. Most geocentrists also believe that the earth stands still, and […]

"1615 – Galileo writes a letter to one of his students, Fr. Benedetto Castelli, proclaiming the truth of Copernicanism, stating that “Scripture…in physical disputes should be reserved to the last place” as an authority for resolving those disputes. Galileo writes a similar letter to Dutchess Christina of Lorraine. Fr. Paolo Antonio Foscarini, a Carmelite friar, also writes a book defending the compatibility of Copernicanism with Scripture. 1615 – On April 12, Robert Cardinal Bellarmine (a saint and Doctor of the Church) writes a letter to Fr. Foscarini, advising him that Copernicanism is contrary to Scripture.

The following is list of Cardinal Bellarmine’s most salient quotes:

      1. “to affirm that the sun really is fixed in the center of the heavens...and the earth... revolves with great speed around the sun, is a very dangerous thing…by injuring our holy faith and rendering the Holy Scriptures false.”

      2. “the Council (of Trent) prohibits expounding the Scriptures contrary to the common agreement of the holy Fathers. And if Your Reverence would read not only the Fathers but also the commentaries of modern writers on Genesis, Psalms, Ecclesiastes, and Josue, you would find that all agree in explaining (ad litteram) that the sun is in the heavens and moves swiftly around the earth, and that the earth is far from the heavens and stands immobile in the center of the universe. Now consider whether the Church could encourage giving to Scripture a sense contrary to the holy Fathers and all the Latin and Greek commentators.”

      3. “Nor may it be answered that this is not a matter of faith...It would be just as heretical to deny that Abraham had two sons and Jacob twelve, as it would be to deny the virgin birth of Christ, for both are declared by the Holy Ghost through the mouths of the prophets and apostles.”

      4. “If there were a true demonstration that the sun was in the center of the universe…and that the sun did not travel around the earth, but the earth circled around the sun, then it would be necessary to proceed with great caution in explaining the passages of Scripture which seemed contrary…But I do not believe that there is any such demonstration.”

      5. “I add the words ‘the sun also riseth and the sun goeth down, and hasteneth to the place where he ariseth, etc.’ were those of Solomon, who not only spoke by divine inspiration but was a man wise above all others and most learned in human sciences and in the knowledge of all created things, and his wisdom was from God. Thus it is not too likely that he would affirm something which was contrary to a truth either already demonstrated, or likely to be demonstrated.”"

You say you believe in the bibles words, which allegedly state the earths two dimensions. Please explain natural phenomena such as night and day, the seasons, etc. in this flat world in which we supposedly live. Also, what does the bible have to say about the bottom of the earth? We have record of mines, holes, oceanic trenches, etc, going as deep as a mile into the earth. Therefore we must recognize that if it is flat, it is a thick disk in space. What does the bible have to say about the bottom of this disk? Can I hook a bungee cord up to the grand handrail at the edge, and jump below the earth to investigate? What exactly happens when you approach the edge? I've been unable to find even one instance in the entire history of the world where anyone or anything has fallen off the edge of the earth. Obviously the handrail theory is quite sound, but perhaps the bible offers more detailed explanations as to the disk's boundaries such as a force field, or an ocean which extends indefinitely in all directions. I would greatly appreciate if you left Mary out of this, she has no influence on the shape of the earth. Why should she? You claim she is nothing but a woman who mothered Jesus' human form along with his twenty to fifty brothers and sisters. Your answers are greatly anticipated, perhaps they will earn you your "flat earth" badge
Why are you here, pal? You go back and forth between standard Catholic Mary-worship and the sort of Bible-mocking argument that I'd expect to hear verbatim from an atheist.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

But I'm also talking about average sinners like you and me. Through gods love, we can all be forgiven if we repent.

I'm not mocking the bible. I'm mocking your radical interpretation of it. You baptists are impossible to deal with. I don't want to be viewed as an atheist, but I refuse to allow you to keep pestering me for being a "Mary worshipper." we revere Mary as holy, but do not hold her as a god. Someone earlier fought my religion because Catholics pray the hail Mary, which apparently was made up by a Mary loving pope. However, it is taken from the bible.

The first part is, but the later part?

                Holy Mary, Mother of God,
                pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
                Amen.

The very idea of intervention of the saints is non-biblical. No one can come to the Father except through Jesus.

Plus, the saints are living people.

Romans 1:7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

The last part is completely biblical. Even if Mary weren't a saint, she could still pray for us. Any normal person could pray for someone. I could pray for you

Yes, but I can't speak to the dead. That's divination and it's wrong. For someone who is dead to even hear you prayers means they have the power to.

                    1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

The mother of Jesus is dead. Do you pray to your great uncle too? Maybe you pray to him to pray for you to find your car keys?

For someone to be able to hear your prayers from the grave, again, they have to have the power to hear them. The only way to hear a prayer from the grave is either divination or that person who is dead would have to possess God-like powers.

That would be St. Anthony. And you'd bury an idol of St. Joseph in your yard, upside down, if you wanted to sell your house.

Levi you have it a little off. Catholics believe that Mary was assumed body and soul into heaven by merit of her sinlessness. This is why we pray through her.

Mary, I've never heard of this st joseph idol practice. You must be more catholic than I am! Oh wait, no. You're just uninformed, and make up your own version of Catholics to demonize us.
