    CATLICKER EXORCISM = EPIC FAIL!

Brothers and Sisters, here is a brief, excellent explanation of the false doctrines used in the catlicker exorcism ritual (with thanks to Sister Talitha):

    From The Times

Exorcists are summoned from abroad to drive the demons away

    Roger Boyes in Berlin

Hundreds of Germans, tortured by inner voices, are on the search for priests who can free them from what they believe to be the grip of the Devil, according to an extraordinary radio documentary that has stirred an awkward debate about exorcism in the Catholic Church.

“Over the past year alone I have received requests from around 350 people who think they are possessed by an evil spirit,” says Father Joerg Mueller, who heads a group of priests, doctors and therapists to deal with the problem. “Therapy hasn't worked for them; they want exorcism — a prayer that can free them.”

Father Mueller, who is based in a Bavarian monastery, was talking to a team from WDR, the state radio network, which was allowed to record extracts from eight exorcisms.

A Polish exorcist, named only as Father Wiktor, suggested that this was only a fraction of the actual number seeking help.

“I would say that every day at least one person is undergoing a full-scale exorcism,” he told WDR.

This has come as a shock to the Catholic Church in Germany, which has shied away from exorcism since the tragic case of Anneliese Michel in 1973.

Ms Michel, 23, from a strongly Catholic Bavarian village, had epilepsy and suffered from hallucinations. Two priests were authorised to perform an exorcism. They performed the ritual 67 times until she died, having starved herself to 31kg (68 lb).

After her death the priests and her parents were sentenced to six-months' suspended jail sentences for not referring her for medical treatment.

That verdict and the publicity — two films were made about the case, including The Exorcism of Emily Rose in 2005 — scared the Church hierarchy. Permission for a full exorcism now has to be granted by a bishop, but few permits have been given. In a poll of German dioceses, only Paderborn admitted to having authorised three exorcisms.

Frustrated by the lack of exorcists in their own country, disturbed Germans are turning to esoteric spiritual healers and priests in Switzerland and Poland. Andrzej Trojanowski, a Polish priest, even has plans to set up an exorcism centre in Poczernin, on the Polish-German border.

WDR broadcast some of the sessions of the exorcists with Ms Michel. She is heard growling and barking. “Tell the truth in the name of the Holy Trinity and the Blessed Virgin Mary!” commands Father Arnold Renz. The answer comes in the form of a long, terrifying scream.

The recording is making the Church leadership more reluctant to address the needs of the supposedly possessed. Yet by doing so the bishops are flying in the face of the Pope, who urged a convention of exorcists to “carry on your important work in the service of the Church”.

Father Gabriele Amorth, the Vatican exorcist-in-chief, has performed the ritual more than 40,000 times.

The Vatican aim appears to be to place at least one exorcist in each diocese to ensure that the distressed do not drift away from the Church. In Germany, however, that drift is already happening.

“I would say that 90 per cent of those who think they are posessed by the Devil are mentally ill,” said Father Mueller. A large number of them have suffered sexual abuse as children. Some think that an exorcism is easier than long years of psychotherapy.

He added: “But about ten per cent of the people who approach us have some sign of demonic possession and then you have to turn to special, charismatic men and women who have the gift of being able to feel and recognise if demons have entered someone.”

Only a handful qualify for exorcism. He gave the example of a widow who was convinced that her late husband had returned, in demonic form, to taunt her. She was offered psychotherapy.

    Counting the Devil

70 Estimated number of exorcists in Poland

And this is what is wrong with catlicker exorcism. These priests and this church do not understand that it is only in the name of JESUS that DEMONS are cast out, not in the name of the Virginian Mary or of anyone else in their pantheon of gods and goddesses. They are no better than other heathens like mormons, geehover's witnesses, and luteran goths.
Mark 16:17 And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My Name they will drive out demons.

1 Kings 21:14 Then they sent to Jezebel, saying, Naboth is stoned . . .

    A SPIRITUAL WARFARE PRAYER:
Father, In Jesus' Name, I take the Blood of Jesus and break the power of all witches, warlocks, wizards, satanists, sorcerers, wiccans, pagans, and any other source, and all of their rituals off of us. With the Blood of Jesus, I erase all evil lines drawn on our liver. . .

The Catlik Church has a record of this sort of thing. The Anti-Christ driving our Devils? I think not – you’re more likely to collect the whole set!

Devil Defeats The Pope In Vatican Exorcism Battle
by Bruce Johnston in Rome, The Electronic Telegraph, 9/11/00

The Pope carried out an impromptu exorcism on a teenage girl after she began "screaming insults in a cavernous voice" during an audience in the Vatican City, it emerged at the weekend.

Despite the Pope's efforts and those of his chief "Satan-buster", Fr Gabriele Amorth, the girl remained "possessed". The Devil's voice "sneeringly laughed from within her" at the Pope's failed attempt to drive him away.

"The Devil went to the Vatican," the Il Messaggero newspaper in Rome reported after being told of the incident by Fr Amorth. He said the exorcism had been the Pope's third in his 22-year papacy.

The paper said that although there may have been other instances of people being possessed in the Vatican, last week's incident had been "spectacular" and Satan had "shown his muscles". The incident occurred during last Wednesday's general audience in a packed St Peter's Square. Suddenly the unnamed 19-year-old girl from Monza began shouting "in a cavernous voice and as if in a fit of rage".

Constrained by Vatican guards, she was said to have displayed "a super-human strength" as she violently pushed them away. Bishop Gianni Danzi, Secretary-General of Vatican City, intervened and sought to calm her by showed her a crucifix. But she began "insulting him, uttering disconnected phrases, and speaking in unknown tongues".

Bishop Danzi hurriedly informed the Pope's private secretary, Mgr Stanislao Dziwisz, who in turn told the pontiff. After driving around the piazza in his Popemobile, the Pope talked to the girl, exorcised her, and stayed with her for half an hour. He prayed for her and assured her that he would say a Mass for her the next day "to obtain her liberation".

But it appeared afterwards that the Pope's intervention had only a temporary effect on the girl. She was said to have been "possessed since she was 12", as a result of someone putting a curse on her out of hatred for her parents. She had been taken by her mother and father to the audience in the hope that a papal blessing would be of some benefit.
Fr Amorth claimed that the Vatican had attempted to cover up the affair. He said: "I exorcised the very same girl on [the day before the indident] together with another exorcist, Fr Giancarlo Gramolazzo.

"She is a splendid girl in terms of purity and goodness. Her case of possession by the Devil is terrible. It moves one to pity to see her suffer so, all bent over and contracted."

I've never really believed in the whole "exorcism" thing.
Sure, it makes a great plot for a movie, but as for the reality of it... give me a break!

Someone under "devil/demon-possession" can easily be treated with pills from legal therapists and psycologists.
Whoever said nothing is impossible hasn't tried to slam a revolving door.

Given that you say you are from the abode of the Devil, I’m not surprised that you would wish to mislead the good folks who come here for help.

The best we can say of treatment with pills is that pills hinder the demons inside from carrying out their immediate work on the soul of the subject. However, this is, in itself, no different to giving the subject illegal drugs such as cannabis or heroin. Once the immediate effect of the drugs wears off, the subject is back being repossessed.

Additionally, you have to bear in mind that if the strength of your Faith (reduced as it is in cases where people become possessed) is further reduced by your inability to believe in Jesus to the fullest – a side effect of these brain-addling pills - the demons are going to take the opportunity to invade further parts of your soul without much resistance and thus the condition worsens.

Have a look at THIS review of "American Exorcism:Expelling Demons in the Land of Plenty". By Michael Cuneo.
Cuneo spends time at the Hegewisch Baptist Church in Indiana with Pastor Mike Theirer, “the hardest working exorcist in America.” His account stands in complete contrast to the more private and peaceful affair described above. Theirer’s deliverance sessions are auditorium affairs. “Throughout the auditorium, demoniacs are paired off with exorcism ministers,” writes Cuneo, who himself rushed help wrestle down a particularly violent demoniac to prevent him from further battering Pastor Mike. People belched and (literally) vomited their demons out in an intense charismatic spectacle.

So the message is, lay off the pills and find yourself a Baptist Pastor as soon as possible.
