This Week Celebrates An Early Book Burning

In the 1640's Satan was at work persuading some to be "independent" thinkers. One of them was named Roger Williams. He established the secular hell-hole called Providence, RI. He defied the religious establishment of the time and treated the native savages as equals. This is the week we can celebrate officials ordering all of his books burned.

There's always someone who comes along and upsets the apple cart, isn't there? Williams was a troublemaker from the start - the man even abided Jews, Muslims and atheists! I think that it might have been better if he had been burnt - you could do that to those in league with Satan back in the day.
