We ALL have "color" to our skin. Ever seen a CLEAR person? How about a person with invisible skin? White people who toil hard as God commands may find themselves in the sun. For example: carpenters. The hue of their skin (the COLOR of their skin) may become reddish or brass or copper. Ever seen a copper colored Canaanite? I think not.

And since you seem to think people of different races see Jesus as their respective color, it seems to me that you yourself may be trying to paint our Savior in YOUR darkened brackish color. Make no mistake that negroids have a special place in the Bible, but express lane to Heaven is not it. Checking others' bags for the express lane, MAYBE.

I'm certainly not negroid - I have blond hair. I was just pointing out a fact that can be seen in the artwork of various cultures.

I've heard certain people emphasize that line when they argue that Jesus was not white. Some have even claimed that Jesus was black/negroid, using that line!

Certainly anyone who is not an albino has some color. And perhaps the line was referring to a deep tan. However, this is refined brass, from a quick search:


It seems to me that a color like this, even with a tan, more aptly describes someone naturally darker than a European. If you insist that it was tanning from the sun, alright... I was just interested in your response to this issue.

Had they had steel (well they had it but did not know it) back in Jesuses time, I am sure the wording would of used steel instead, possibly even Chrome. The reference to the use of metal was not so much to define the color rather define the toughness.

They are black nationalists who claim descent from the ancient tribes of israel, and claim that whites are Edomites (descended from Esau) and thus devils. I've exchanged words with them a number of times - one of their arguments was that Jesus was a black man, and they'd use that verse to back it up. I don't think he was actually black, rather that he had moderate color to his skin. I just wanted to see what you had to say about that.

Have you ever looked at a picture or painting of a black Jesus and thought to yourself, “This just doesn’t feel right?” You ask yourself, “Is the painter joking? Is he making fun of Jesus?” The answer is yes, the artist is being sarcastic and that artist is surely burning in hell’s fire as I type this.

Jesus was white. Yes, He was born in the Middle East, but His father was not Middle Eastern, He was God. God is NOT Middle Eastern. When was the last time you saw a painting of God with a Turban wrapped around His head? Never? Exactly.

God is white. God has always been white. Every depiction, every description and every painting I have seen of God has been white. God impregnated Mary, NOT Joseph. Therefor, Jesus is white.

That is what drew people to Him in the first place. A white skinned man in the Middle East 2000 years ago was surely a miracle and Jesus was and is a miracle worker.

Now look at Heaven. Heaven is mostly made of feathery white clouds with rays of light shooting through them, which according to most Christians I know, would make the inhabitants white.

Also, white is amazingly proficient at reflecting light, which is very important when living in Heaven because it’s much closer to the sun than living on the Earth. This white skin prevents you from getting cancer in Heaven and I’m sure stops many other diseases in their tracks.

So, next time you start babbling on about how, “Jesus was Middle Eastern and couldn’t have been white”, save yourself the embarrassment and look at the Facts!

Good morning! I am new here and will make a proper introduction in the appropriate forum after this post.

It certainly is an interesting read! It has always been my belief that Jesus was indeed white. How would I know that? Well, the Word of God gives an excellent description of our Lord. All one needs to do to get an EXACT picture of what He looks like is to go and read Song of Solomon.

Before any haters from the unsaved world even begins to jump on this by going to Yahoo answers, Wikistupidpedia or any other such places.......These lines (not verses) describe Jesus Christ. It does NOT describe Solomon or more especially, it DOES NOT DESCRIBE the hethen bastard Muhammad.

God created Man in His own image (Genesis 1:27). However, I interpret this loosely, as Man has so much variation, particularly in color what with all these negros and such we have running around these days, that God could not have created Man precisely in His own image, but rather a loose template based on his general appearance. This can not include color. Because of this, the color of Man is no indication of the color of God. To determine that, we must use other logic.

God can only be one color, and the only color that makes sense for Him to be of is white. How could He be black? I refuse to accept that. Furthermore, the mother Mary must have been light-skinned as well, because a wise and all-knowing God would not have chosen a dark-skinned woman to impregnate. Having two light-skinned parents would generally cause a man to have light skin. Jesus had to have been white.

So when King Herald ordered the death of all the new born baby boys everyone went blind in the country 'cause they couldn't see the one pure white baby (with blond hair and blue eyes which some believe) out of all the other brown people that they mostly were. And white is a colour for example if you were to ask a person what colour dress they wore to a party that person is hardly going to reply "I wore no colour" and expect people to understand. Get over the fact black people had the power to fight for their freedom like any race worthy of merit, like women fought for the vote, like libiya and Egypt now. Life is one battle, your racist comments and actions in the end affect no-one else other than yourselves, you are alone with your demons not I or anyone else and only you come sort it out.

I guess when King Herod ordered the deaths of all the new born baby boys that everyone in the country went blind because they couldn't see the one "pure" white baby out of the sea of brown people they most likely were.

Another thing darkness was here first not the other way round and black absorbs the light it internalises not rejects it by reflecting it.

Plus I know people are not so stupid to think all the images painted by people who have never seen Jesus before in their lives are acurate portrayals of God. It likes Sponge Bob Square Pants tape being sent to aliens on Venus and them thinking that all humans on earth are talking yellow squared sponges that live under the sea.

Some white people just need to get over the fact black people, jews have fought for their freedoms despite you and won like any other worthy race has done so like the Libiyans and Egyptians now, like women fought for the right to vote and did so because freedom it the ultimate right. Life is a battle just deal with it,your racism only in the end affects you not me, you live with your demons not I nor anyone else and it will either win you or you'll win it. But we all know that having hatred is a heavy burden that buries the one that carries it no-one else.

Plus people are the colour they are to adapt to the climate you only have to look at the Artic Fox to realise this so get over it. With all that He did and is still doing, why should it matter so much what His skin color was/is. This question in no way makes me less loving of my Savior. Is it wrong to wonder why it is such a big deal? I am young and have many questions, please be patient with me, I just want to understand.

OMG, Traditionally white represents purity, goodness, and innocence. God is total goodness, and complete innocence. Consequently God can never have a negative thought towards us what ever colour your skin.
