    Dante's Inferno

A poem from the series of poems, Divine Comedy written by Dante Alighieri

I played the game on the PS3 a few weeks ago and I have to say it's very much like hell. If you want to experience the suffering of hell without actually making a trip down there, I'd suggest you go buy the game for just $40. It's a bargain considering it comes without the eternal damnation etc etc.

I think I'll save my $40 and just read your posts.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

      1. Dante's Inferno
      2. Cuddly winged baby-angel cherubs
      3. People becoming angels after death

Um, we ARE listing things that have no Scriptural support whatsoever, right?

I watched a nephew play the game, and I happy to say the game includes unbaptised babies in hell, which is always a sign that someone has actually done their research. On the other hand, the part with Mohammed wasn't included. And some nipples were visible.

          Re: Dante's Inferno

          Dante was a cathylic.

The inferno has absolutely no scriptural basis whatsoever.

It was written to scare people to return to the cathylic church; instead of showing the Love of the Father(r) getting them to want to follow God's Will (c).

I'd rather be a True Christian(tm) because I love the LORD, than be a cathylick because I don't want to go to hell.

HA! the people that made the game for "Dantes Inferno" also made "God of war"

anyway, i playes Dante's inferno, it was a one-off game by the developers, i much prefer "darksiders" where people can play as the horseman "War"

anyway, the game honestly sucked, bad gameplay, bad plot ect...

thats what you get for making a game about religion

              Re: Dante's Inferno

As Rev Rodimer and Brother V both explain, (a) Dante was a servant of the Anti-Christ (b) there are no “grades” of Hell, no Limbo, etc, these are Satan’s traps to make to make you think that if you are a sinner, you might get a light sentence. God is clear on this – you are either Saved™ or Damned and the latter is eternally and equally painful for all.

All a game like this need have is 10 questions to determine your level of Christianity; give you a chance to repent and then dispatch you to the appropriate region of the after-life. I simply don’t see how that could last much longer than 5 minutes.
