America is a great country and I love living here. However, people who think that the US is founded by God himself and is his chosen country are pretty arrogant. I am remembering how your 'forefathers' travelled to America for a variety of reasons. The earlier settlers came in expeditions funded by the governing power of European countries in order to capitalise on the supposed wealth to be garnered in the New World, and to compete with their rivals in setting up overseas colonies. Later settlers did, admittedly, come due to persecution, but that wasn't everyone. After the independence of the USA, immigrants arrived due to the allure of 'the land of the free', where they could supposedly get rich and live a better life than they were used to elsewhere.Are you remembering how my (not your) forefathers were guided to America in the face of persecution in their own lands?Comment

Be wary of false Kumbaya Christians who use a highlighter and scissors to read the Bible. God wants us to read the lines, not between the lines. False Christians will go to Hell:

Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Asking a Christian to prove God exists is like asking him to prove his phone rings because yours doesn't. Make that call yourself! Dial 0800-get-on-your-knees-and-pray.
