O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Re: Slavery: God's Gift to Africans

I have to admit that I can't imagine being 'African' I've seen too many people and friends of friends that are soooo fugly. They simply weren't mixed enough and I'm glad I live in the US. However, when you look past using Africans for work, the Africans did not receive biblical treatment. The slave owners did not let the men go after 7 years, but instead kept or resold them for generations(400 years).

Same happened to the women that were bought. They were either resold, paired with men to make 'superslaves', or raped to convince them not to run away. The bible has never said you are allowed to rape your merchandise. Sure, reselling or the forced mating of your property is fine when it includes the women. But the lack of mercy and the gift of freedom after 7 years to the men was not biblical.

Also, don't forget that in the time of Christ, people were sold into slavery by their own family or themselves. The way the Africans were enslaved and brought over was not biblical. And finally, all slaves are not black, or African. In the time of Christ, Romans enslaved Britans, Hebrews enslaved Hebrews, and most slave work was in a vineyard, household, or field, rather than a huge plantation with a government controlled crop.

I'd never want to be a slave, and I'm not saying America would have been better off without it. But the way it was cultivated and mass marketed in the USA for 400 years wasn't righteous or biblical.

P.S.: My ancestors were throughly mixed
leading up to my conception and I'm willing
to write down my family history if a pastor
would like to know what I'm made of.(literally)

My, my, my... are you doubting the actions of God's Chosen® People? I mean, I could not imagine anything better for these slaves, who got to be in the companion of the most decent, outstanding human beings in the planet, the lovely True Christians™! I can understand your moment of confusion, sister, but just remember the law was for Semite-descendants, not for the Canaanites:

                Genesis 9: 20-27

Noah, a man of the soil, proceeded to plant a vineyard. When he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and lay uncovered inside his tent. Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father's nakedness and told his two brothers outside. But Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it across their shoulders; then they walked in backward and covered their father's nakedness. Their faces were turned the other way so that they would not see their father's nakedness. When Noah awoke from his wine and found out what his youngest son had done to him, he said,
                "Cursed be Canaan!
                The lowest of slaves
will he be to his brothers."
                He also said,
"Blessed be the LORD, the God of Shem!
May Canaan be the slave of Shem.
                May God extend the territory of Japheth;
may Japheth live in the tents of Shem,
and may Canaan be his slave."
I understand you might be confused, due to your inferior mind, being a woman and all...

Re: Slavery: God's Gift to Africans

Mary-worshiping liberal Pat Buchanan has an interesting take on the ungrateful Nigras and their belly-aching.

First, America has been the best country on earth for black folks. It was here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave ships, grew into a community of 40 million, were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known.

Wright ought to go down on his knees and thank God he is an American.

Second, no people anywhere has done more to lift up blacks than white Americans. Untold trillions have been spent since the ’60s on welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell grants, student loans, legal services, Medicaid, Earned Income Tax Credits and poverty programs designed to bring the African-American community into the mainstream.

Governments, businesses and colleges have engaged in discrimination against white folks — with affirmative action, contract set-asides and quotas — to advance black applicants over white applicants.

Churches, foundations, civic groups, schools and individuals all over America have donated time and money to support soup kitchens, adult education, day care, retirement and nursing homes for blacks.

We hear the grievances. Where is the gratitude?
Read more about the petty complaints of the ungrateful Nigra race...

How would he pull it off? I wondered. How would Barack explain to his press groupies why he sat silent in a pew for 20 years as the Rev. Jeremiah Wright delivered racist rants against white America…

Re: Slavery: God's Gift to Africans

                    tLakota,

Please take the time to look over the following illustrated lesson that Jesus provides for us concerning the institution of slavery.

And, dear, it is a hebrew slave that is to be offered freedom at the end of a 7 year term, not the hamite. And even then only the male slave is given that option. The following is another illustrated lesson that, although having hebrew slaves as the subject matter, does still contain some general rules that Jesus has laid out concerning slavery (i.e. children born of slaves belong to the master, you can beat slaves to death as long as they don't die that same day)

Rape, of course, is a horrible crime that nigra bucks inflict upon white women daily. But there is no means by which a man can rape his own property. A slave belongs to its owner; therefore, the owners are fully within their right to enjoy their property as they see fit. But if for some reason the sex wasn't good, assuming I purchased a slave for sex, there is a 100% satisfaction guarantee so I return the product back over to the original owner for a full refund.

Given what we know about human nature I'm sure you'd agree that if I had just killed your mother, father, sisters(who aren't virgins) and male siblings (rather infant, children, or adult) that you might not be so willing to have me as a sexual partner. However, Jesus states that it is my right to have my way with you if I saw fit. He does not say I need my property's permission. Therefore, it wouldn't be rape. On the bright side, depending on your particular disposition, after I've had my way with you there is a chance for your freedom if you no longer do anythig for me after I've used you for my own pleasures.

Women are, more or less, a sexual commodity as can be seen the following illustrated lesson.

And there are a ton of other examples in God's Holy Word which depicts women being taken as sexual property or won as prizes in contests. I hope I have been helpful in explaining to you on the doctrine of our Lord and Savior and His views of female slavery and slavery in general.

Only male hebrew slaves. To some extent many will even go so far as to say that male slaves from among your own people must be offered freedom after seven years. So If I had a male True Christian slave I would be required to offer them freedom. But I won't go into that issue.

In the past a christian buck nigra would chose to stay with his master because I'd still own his wife and children and there wouldn't be any real opportunity for employment outside of my loving home. However, with the end of God endorsed slavery the bucks don't care about committment. They walk out on their kids all the time. That is why there are so many single sow mothers collecting welfare for all her niglets. With welfare, food stamps, and the forcing of employers to hire underqualified bucks makes it easy for them to survive without proper guidance. In the natural order that Jesus intended the lazy died, but in this secular lieberal world the lazy get rewarded.

During slavery nigra loved their children and loved their spouse. They didn't eat their young nor smoke their own feces. Whites instilled them with good family values. They went to nigra worship services regularly. They worked hard to carry their own weight. They didn't rape white women, they didn't steal pies cooling of window seals, and they were all in good physical condition. Clearly, slavery is needed once again to get the greater nigra population back in service to Jesus.

Now they have no love for their children or their wives. They don't even get married and the sows have multiple "babies' daddies". They eat their newborn children while on crack induced highs. They don't go to church nor do they fear Jesus. They rape white women nonstop, steal pies constantly, and the sows are hideously overweight. There is no denying that Slavery represented the Golden Age of nigra history.
