A question about Adam and his kids

According to the bible, Adam and Eve were the first humans on the planet. They got into a little fight with god and were subsequently expelled from Eden. After than, Eve got pregnant and gave birth to Kain and Abel. Kain killed Abel, and was then punished by God.

Now, as far as i've been able to discern, Adam and Eve didn't have any other kids... so...

how come we're still here as a species?

As far as you've been able to discern? Maybe if you had bothered to read the Bible past the fourth page, you'd have been able to answer your own question.

Genesis 5:
3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

Adam fathered Seth when he was 130, and then spent the next 800 years fathering uncounted sons and daughters.

I would have guessed you were into ripping out the pages and using the paper to roll "joints".

What the Bible is most useful for is learning how to not have your sinning hiney sent straight to Hell for an eternity of unimaginable torment. Do you know how long eternity is? Do you know where you are going to spend eternity?

Every one of us has sinned, so we all deserve this fate. Lucky for all of us, there is a Way to be saved, and His name is Jesus Christ. Would you like to know more about Him?

The Bible explains

Genesis 4:16 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

Genesis 4:17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

So the answer is Cain went to the land of Nod and found a wife there.

How the hell did he find a wife there? (and i'm pretty sure bestiality is forbiddenby god) Since Adam and Eve were the first (and only) people 'god' created, those people in then land of nod are Cain's sister... so... that's incest... which is probably forbidded by law

Obvious he couldn't marry his niece and God didn't create more people. We must look at this scientifically; Spontaneous generation. The conditions were right in the land of Nod for a wife to appear so a wife did appear. Remember we are only talking about a woman so this is kind of a big deal about nothing.

Spontaneous regeneration is a phenomen that creates life (Single celled organism ONLY) over a period of thousands, even millions of years. THere's no way that any land cound generate a wife for someone.

Your best option is that some other great power intervened and created something great for Cain. Cthulhu might've had something do with it, he's powerfull enough to create life out of nothingness...

You really aren't paying attention are you?

To quote our Godly Brother V:

Remember in day six, Genesis 1:26, he made man, then in Genesis 2:7, he made man again. Praise His redundant nature!

And again:

According to most false christians (who try to believe the creation story), there were only 3 people on the earth at that time. Adam, Eve and Cain (with the dead Abel). In Genesis 4:14, we see Cain saying EVERY ONE. Who else was there, according to them there's only 2 others. Of course Adam and Eve might be mad that their son killed their other son, but probably not enough to have him killed. So who were EVERY ONE?

Those are the people who were created on day 6.

Then we see the Cain took a wife from someplace else, a woman who obviously wasn't one of his sisters, (in verse 16).

If you'd spend less time arguing and mocking, and reading his excellent Bible In A Year effort, you'd have all the answers already.

Now stop mocking us, so we can spend time on people who actually deserve to be saved.
