One of the things we here at Landover see on a daily basis is some heathen coming along and saying, “Prove that God exists.” We then present them with independent historical records and they say that these are not proof.

The proof of existence for anyone who existed over even 150 years ago is entirely down to historical records. As Brother Bobby-Joe pointed out, there’s a myriad of historical figures who otherwise might be nothing more than the figments of imagination and conspiracy theories.

So, what we would ask of those who demand, “Prove that God exists.” is, “What would be proof for you?”

Jesus has been proven to have historically existed. For evidence, I recommend Josh McDowell's book "Evidence for Christianity". It proves that Jesus historically existed, that He was God incarnate, and that He was resurrected and ascended. Proof. Your own weapon used against you.
