We provide a similar service in Freehold every year, but I couldn't find the video we took last time. This will give you the right idea. Whatever you do, don't sell or give your flags to any hippies or diaper headed terrorists who might come knocking on your door. They want to BURN your flags. In front of the White House!

Praise you for posting this video. People keep their flags past their lifespan because they don't know what to do with them!! I'm going to send some of my flags to be burned in the ceremony next year, plus I'm going to send them a 50 dollar donation to show my appreciation.

Maybe we should organize our own flag collecting and disposal ceremony for Landover? We could have a pastor bless the flags. We would also need a veteran, of course, and a fire fighter (for safety).

When I opened this page, I thought I would see a nobler end. Am I the only one to be somewhat surprised by the “retirement” being nothing more than burning it in a furnace constructed of old oil drums?

It did not go unnoticed that there was no recording of the actual retirement ceremony, which should be done only by a very senior True Christian™ Minister – why are they hiding this? I think we should be told!

Another disturbing point was that we never actually had the identity of the participants proven to us. This is important as the whole deal could be an elaborate scam on behalf of aged hippies to burn flags by the score before setting off on a drug-fuelled orgy!

In view of the above, I suggest that right-thinking people might take up the suggestion that all senior flags be retired to Gitmo where the vile opponents of freedom and enemies of God can spend their time unpicking the threads and then weaving them into body armor for our troops. The local military Baptist Minister will then offer a short pray over the body armor in which he beseeches the Holy Spirit to enter the armor for protection of God and Country.

This will have the triple effect of
(i)making the sandarabs stare at the flag day in, day out, so giving them respect for Old Glory,
(ii)if anyone shoots at one of our boys, they will be conspiring to desecrate the flag and thus, rather than being taken prisoner, they can be executed there and then,
(iii)as the mudslimes will also have shot at the Holy Spirit, their souls will spend all eternity in Hell with out chance of parole.
