As I have mentioned in my post, that is not true.

I do good things because I want to. I do not need any other reason. I don't need a bogey man who threatens me or a carrot dangling in front of me. I am not like you. I can make my own decisions.

You know, that is a VERY interesting question. I'll try to answer it as best I can.

I try to live a good life, but that's not because I am afraid of being punished by god (assuming he exists), but because I simply want to live a good life. I do good things (like helping others) because I like how it feels and because I like helping others. I am not doing it out of fear or some "better safe than sorry" idea.

In fact, if you think about it, living a good life in accordance to your religion raises a question. Do you do good because you want to do good, or because you are afraid of what might happen if you don't do good deeds? If you do good things because you are afraid/do not want to anger god, then I doubt your sincerity.

Basically, I live my life in accordance to my moral code and what my parents have taught me. I am not concerned about whether or not some deity will be angered by it. In fact, if said deity has nothing better to do than follow every tiny aspect of my life, then that deity should find a hobby.

I do good things because I want to, not because I am afraid of being punished.

God has given you free will and you may yet use it to find Jesus, though that is not likely. Thus, it is not possible for anyone to predict your ultimate fate with certainty.

What is certain is that if you pass unsaved, you will find yourself in Hell.
