For example the Bible(KJV1611) told us thousands of years ago that pi is three. Long before so called science came up with their rough estimate.

Pi=3.14159 (to infinity) I use the new testament as a guide for my actions in life, and I follow the teachings of jesus. I've never seen the pope, therefore because the bible doesn't say anything about him he does not exist. I have never seen the surface and round shape of our moon in person, therefore it's actually just a magical floating disk in the sky that changes shape. I am using the exact same logic you are. You say planets don't exist because you can't see them in person, and the bible doesn't say anything about them. But the same logic, anything that you have not directly observing at the moment does not exist. So, since I live in Canada and have never been to the mainland USA, (been to hawaii) it does not exist. By your logic that planets and atoms do not exist, America does not exist. Because I can't see it right now, and the bible doesn't say directly that america exists, it does not exist. Logic (and science) that attempt to refute or disprove anything that the Bible (ie. God's word, preserved for all generations) says is obviously Satanically tainted somehow, and that's what they reject.

As a Christian, you believe the Bible is true, or you're not. You might like the "Christian" label (does wonders for business opportunities in some areas), but if you don't love Jesus more than your own family or job or whatever, and do every last thing He commands you to do in the Bible, the label isn't going to do you much good in the end.

I don't believe you have to worry. The 'explosion' taking place insite the LHC isn't far big enough to cause any danger. Yes, the device consumes huge amounts of energy, but the efficiency is incredibly low. Most of the electrical power inserted into the machine is dissipated in heat. The energy in the particle packages is about as large as a flying bug.

I don't think we have to see this device as a distraction from what is really important. They are only trying to take apart a view particles to see whats inside of them. Also, for wormholes to form, you must have absolute weights millions and millions times greater than that of our planet. This because the gravitational pull has to be immense to let a planet collaps on itself.

I think worrying about this LHC is a waste of time. Time we could much better spend on worshipping our saviour and loving Jezus Christ.
