    Noah's Ark was NOT Round

In my reading about science, I occasionally come across some Jew or atheist who claims Noah Ark was not the shape God directed Noah to build, but some other shape. The most ridiculous claim is round. The dimensions of the ark are spelled out clearly in the Bible, 515 feet long, 85.8 feet wide and 51.5 feet high. The ark was built long and narrow so it could travel in the water. When the wind blew and waves were high it could turn into the wind and waves for safety. Anyone who has seen a boat knows the shape.

Especially insulting is the Jew in the link. He attributes the long narrow design to Protestants and hints Jews and Catholics understand the Bible better. Exactly the opposite is the truth. He goes into all kinds of detail arguing the original language of the Bible is something other than English and the length number is actually circumference.

There should be a law that Pastor Zeke is the only authority on the Bible in the entire world.

Would the round boat be one that's made out of rope?

Ah yes, Irving Finkel, a long-standing adversary of the Landover Baptist Church, and, therefore, an adversary of God. He's the curator of the cuneiform tablets at the British Museum. He's responsible for hundreds of thousands of these Babylonian documents, yet not one verifies the Bible stories of the Babylonian exile. Why does he suppress this knowledge? Because he's a secular Jew, and we all know that's the worst kind of Jew!

Just listen to this evil nonsense that he babbles:

At Landover, we don't believe in suppressing knowledge. That's why all of Finkel's writings are on our banned book list.

As for the shape of Noah's ark, this is what it looked like, just as the Bible says:

Some critics claim that the ark was too small to hold two of each animal on Earth, but this is actually a proof of God's existence. Who but the Almighty God could have designed a boat that was bigger on the inside than on the outside? GLORY!!

Clay tablets that do not talk about Jesus have to be fake. We know from the Bible people talked about God and sin constantly. Jews have been trained to be secular. This professor is just one of the soon to be forgotten Godless people who will never amount to anything.

The Book of Genesis gives detailed instructions on how Noah's Ark is to be constructed. It is to be 515 feet long, 85.8 feet wide and 51.5 feet high and of gofer wood.

The Book of Exodus gives detailed instructions on how the Ark of the Covenant is to be constructed. It is to be 2½ cubits in length, 1½ cubits breadth, and 1½ cubits height (52×31×31 in) and of acacia wood.

I am always annoyed by portrayals of the Ark of the Covenant as a box!

If you put a round boat of that sort of size in the sea, how could you steer it? Wouldn't it just spin in circles and make the animals nauseous?

Sister Joanna, great question. These pointy-headed liberals are always poking around in the Bible trying to find some reason Noah did not build and sail the famous Ark. Now, another one has shown up on the good Christian site. I don't understand how a Christian site can allow some atheist to claim there were different lengths of the cubit in the Bible. The cubit is the distance between the elbow and the hand.

The atheist-inspired link says that when the Bible tells us water covered the earth, it might have been hyperbole. Then is says the word "ark" can be translated to mean "basket." The worst atheist claim is that we don't know where the Ark came to rest. Can't atheists read the words, MOUNT ARARAT.

Anyone who wants good information about Noah's Ark should read the Bible and then visit Ken Ham's Ark Encounter. Another source of good information is the Dinosaur Museum in North Dakota. The first generation of dinosaurs after landing on Mount Ararat headed to North Dakota where there are lots them buried.
