  • Animals.

I didn't know where else to put this post so sorry if it is in the wrong place.

Do animals have rights? Should animal abuse be illegal? Do you think that there is nothing wrong with hurting or killing and animal when not posing a threat of any kind (hunting)? Im not sure but I think the bible says that one should not consume a certain animal, pig i think. I don't remember.

So since yall take the bible very literally, I assume you wouldn't eat that animal that it says not to eat right?
And are animals meant for human service, eating, companionship, or are they just another organism with feelings and heart beats?

Don't be an idiot all your life!

]Ge:1:26: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Thus God makes it clear that you can do with animals as you see fit.

Wrong assumption because you have never read the Bible (KJV1611) – you are thinking of the old jooish dietary laws, which Jesus repealed: M't:15:11: Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

M't:15:18: But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

Yes, and, as God said, anything else you may want to do with them – lots of them are covered in fur, which makes fine Godly clothes. and let's not forget the contributions made by animals in vivisection, drug testing and other experiments[/quote]
Ge:3:21: Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
or are they just another organism with feelings and heart beats?
They have no souls, why should anyone care what happens to them? Ge:9:2: And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.

So we see that the animals are scared of us and yet they are delivered into our hands, and that is as it should be.
