  • BBC Visits Creation Museum, Learns God's Truth

BBC reporter Peter Jackson paid a visit to Ken Ham’s Creation Museum and interviewed a few visitors. Why do they go? What do they think? Here’s what they had to say!

The $27M Creation Museum, founded by Ken Ham of http://www.answersingenesis.org, features exhibits explaining the 6-day Creation Week, the Fall of Man, and the extinction of the dinosaurs.

BBC reporter Peter Jackson (no relation to the Lord of the Flies . . . er, Lord of the Rings director) visited the Creation Museum and asked a few guests what they thought.

Laurie Geesey, a 57-year-old from Wisconsin, and her husband thought it was wonderful, In fact, Mrs. Geesey stated that she didn’t think Darwin believed his own theory, even while being concerned that others looked down upon her views, “especially under the current administration”, the increasingly Godly Beloved Leader Barack Obama, who is working hard to handle The Sodomite Question.

Perhaps Mrs. Geesey was thinking back to False Christian George W. Bush’s administration!

As Ham clearly demonstrates, humans and dinosaurs clearly coexisted in harmony.

Robert Mailloux, 67, of Colorado Springs brought up some very important issues in his discussion with Mr. Jackson. Said Mr. Mailloux,
[Darwin's theory is] not even a low grade hypothesis [and contains] no substantial science.

The Bible says God created the Earth in six days and we flat believe that.

There are over 100 ways science is able to look at the Earth and 90 say it is thousands of years old - only 10 say it’s real old.
We attempted to contact Mr. Mailloux for his 90 of 100 references, but were unable to get hold of him. We will keep trying!

    Mailloux added,
Why is Darwin buried with kings at Westminster Abbey? He’s not a king. He’s the king of the atheists’ movement, of people who don’t want to deal with the guilt that’s put on them by sin…
We’re also curious why Sir Isaac Newton and other prominent scientists are buried with kings at Westminster Abbey. Is it because the Brits hate God and reject the Bible? We’d wager Mr. Mailloux would agree!

Dan Schoonmaker, 26, of Alabama considers himself a “creationist in training”. He knows that the Bible is a wholly scientific book, God’s ‘as-builts’ for the universe. Mr. Schoonmaker points out how the Creation Museum represents one more great step forward for the scientific achievements of mankind:
There are sometimes better explanations for things, I mean people thought the earth was flat.
Indeed they did, Mr. Schoonmaker! But we modern people know better, that the world does not have four corners and is quite spherical. Yet the Bible clearly states that the Earth is a sphere, orbiting the sun, not a flat circle being orbited by the sun, moon, and stars.

Be sure to check out this detailed photo tour! It’s almost as good as going yourself . . . but not quite!

I heard there were a lot of big rocks and stuff at that museum. maybe I should go. I also understand that the reason T-Rex has such large teeth is because it lived on coconuts....

I wonder if a T-Rex gives milk that tastes like coconut milk? That would be good food for a caveman.
I am on the adventure of a lifetime! This is even better than the time I used the plastic stones!

Well, I enjoyed that post sister JennyD, it's about time those Godless Brits has a decent lesson in Biblical Science.

I must look at the tour to see if they have a unicorn and a cockatrice; I've never seen a cockatrice close up - those Patriarchs were surely blessed to see so much of the creation that is now sadly missing.

I imagine it would, SF. Yes, the T-Rex was an herbivore before the Fall. Amazing, isn't it?

My only complaint about the Creation Museum is the gift shop-- all of the balsa wood dinosaur models came pre-assembled since apparently the church thinks that creating a model is "playing God".

I don't think dinosaurs lactated as they laid eggs to bring forth their young. I can imagine those eggs would make an incredible egg salad – enough to feed an entire caveman family for a week. You could also whip up some awesome mayonnaise from those eggs as well, just add a little dinosaur oil.
