What is Causing Bridges to Collapse in the U.S.

The science and engineering fields are all abuzz these days talking about an increase in the number of bridges that have simple fallen into the water. Of course the secular world has come up with a theory. It is that the science of steel bridge materials did not keep up with the warming climate. As temperatures rose the ability of the metals to expand and contract did not keep up. Then the metal failed and down come the bridges. The secular world needs to admit they do not have good explanations for the changes now taking place.

Let's use some logic here. God made the land and water. Then he placed humans on the various lands he had created. To sustain us humans, God put various plants and animals on those pieces of land. God put humans of different races on different parcels of land. To wrap up His creation, God built motes around them in the form of rivers, lakes and oceans.

When men built bridges over these motes they thought they were outsmarting God. God did not like the mixed-race marriages that resulted from the bridges. Now God is getting revenge by collapsing these bridges that violated his will.

Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

If God had intended us to have bridges, he would not have had Jesus walk on water.

You may be onto something, Brother Mayor. I can't recall reading about a single bridge in the Bible, Boats, yes, but no mention of bridges. Clearly, not a Jesus-approved form of architecture.

Simple, they are not as good as walls.

Well said, Sister Handmaiden. Isaiah 43:2 tells us not fear passing through water itself because God will keep us from drowning. Two of God's well-known passages inform us of how to reach a shore on the other side. God parted the waters for Moses. Later, Jesus just walked over the water. There is our lesson.

Excellent analysis, Mr Mayor. I never thought of it that way before. Perhaps the good Lord is telling us to stay in our zones.

Thank you for your nice comment, Mr. Harper. Please stop over at the Introduction Forum and tell us about yourself. We are so enthusiastic about Jesus and our True Christiantm church we like to know more about those who stop by to comment. We don't have anyone posting just now with the nickname "Tony" so that would be a nice addition.

I'd certainly like to know more about this new guest "Tony" before welcoming him into the loving bosom of Jesus.

I just presumed the lack of prayer in schools nowadays was causing the infrastructure to fail. God needs to get His share of the attention or else He strikes things down - there's plenty of warnings in the Bible about this.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

Thank you for your insight, Brother Mr Mayor, Sir. In my thoughtless ignorance, I had never considered that this was The Hand of God and had rather put it down to the curse of fat people. My thinking was that when you have a bridge full of automobiles that seat four or five people each, an extra 50-to-100 pounds per person adds up to more than mere human engineering can stand.

Thank you, Sister Joanna. Certainly, we need to consider fat people when pondering God's intent. We have to consider this as well: God knows exactly what is in the freight trucks passing over those bridges. What a temptation is must be to an angry God when He sees a truck approaching a bridge and the truck is filled with lubricant products used by homers. And how angry He must be when he sees trucks carrying abortion pills, atheist books and sex toys about to cross a river. It's no wonder we are seeing bridges fall.

Here is sound evidence of you wisdom, Pastor Bathfire. For a long time, individuals have believed they could go across what is called The English Channel. God did not want them leaving one continent and traveling to another. Maybe they thought if Jesus could walk on water they could too. Well, God drowned them. Goodbye to the interracial marriage these dead people were seeking.
