Oh, please share with us your thoughts on the end of the world, and the resources that led you to those conclusions.

    In a new thread, preferably.

Of course, Landover speaks only God's Word:

Nu:16:30: But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.
Nu:16:31: And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:
Nu:16:32: And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.
Nu:16:33: They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.

Nu:16:34: And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.
Nu:16:35: And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.

It's not sarcasm, just healthy skepticism.
Skepticism is the most unhealthy thing possible!

1 Corinthians 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Mark 9:43-47- I honestly don't understand what this means. Is it that if you offend the lord you cut off the thing attached to you that did it? That had a huge impact on me...I started have tears well up in my eyes. As I read through it I...I felt lost and...hopeless. Thank you Heathen-Basher, thank you. I can't pull a one-eighty but I'll definably read the bible deeper now. Again thank you.
Also the description in the bible matches up perfectly. I pull my earlier statement and I just say, meaning it, Praise Jesus and God. He who sees it fit for me to live.
You think I am too stupid to read through your silly attempt at sarcasm? I know what you are trying to bait me into - you want me to say that that verse is metaphorical, and then you will turn around and cry that I should read the verses about hell metaphorically too. You are very much like the Pharisees who tried to trap Jesus with loaded questions.

Unfortunately for you, I have God's wisdom on my side. Those verses are NOT metaphorical, the Bible is one hundred percent literally true, and people who claim otherwise are False Christians.

The literal meaning of those passages has been understood for ages: it means if you have evil lusts you can't control, you have to cut off your penis.

Matthew 19: 12For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

I'm sorry my stupidity clouds words of true gratefulness...I can only thank you Heathen_Basher, and ask for forgiveness. Praise God because everyday brings me closer to him...sorry for my earlier rantings. Truly and sincerely I ask for forgiveness from both you, all who I have offended on this site, and God.

Praise Jesus! I can see that the Holy Spirit is at work today! It gives Jesus such joy to hear a wanton uppity harlot such as yourself make her first attempts at repentance. Shout Glory!

Please make sure you drop to your knees and open your heart to Jesus, as I do every day. He can fill you with His white hot love too!

              Hi,

I was thinking about the post someone made about that plane crash, and how God can't exist because how would God want to do something like that anyway?

and I was reading my bible, and came upon Romans 3:9.

God doesn't do collateral damage. God takes the sinners, and we are all sinners.

Yes, there is. Here's what God did to the Assyrian, and promised to do to Pharaoh, in Ezekiel 31:

I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth. They also went down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen. To whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
