Godly Texas State Board of Ed on Science

I found this collection of Godly quotes from members of the Texas State Board of Education. Please be sure to use them frequently when evilutionists try to take over YOUR schools!

Here are a few samples to whet your appetite:

“Evolution has been jammed down our throats our whole lives. I’m glad of the opportunity to look at the other side of the coin.”
    – Tim Smith, an Abilene resident who attended a church seminar designed to show how scientific evidence supports creationism, not the theory of evolution, Abilene Reporter-News, January 10, 2009
“While state legislatures haggle over the words science, theory, and weaknesses, American schoolchildren continue to rank poorly in science education among the nations of the world. Pouring more money into the status quo of evolution-based science education isn’t the answer. Teaching the truth is.”
    – Henry Morris III, a prominent evolution denier and CEO of the Dallas- based Institute for Creation Research, which has sued the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board for refusing to grant the organization approval to offer master’s of science education degrees in the state, U.S. News and world Report, February 2, 2009
“When the Universe was smaller, the gravitational effect was huge and the time on Earth would have been a billion times slower.”
    – Robert Carr, a retired chief executive and contributor to the Creation Museum in Kentucky, offering his thoughts about how God created the earth in six days, AFP, February 5, 2009

I am amazed at the learning of these fine Christians. I am particularly impressed wit
“When the Universe was smaller, the gravitational effect was huge and the time on Earth would have been a billion times slower.”
    – Robert Carr,
Do you have a reference for the Biblical Science behind this? I only ask as much of these sorts of statement are dismissed out of hand otherwise. I would be particularly interested in anything saying that God created a smaller universe that the one we presently inhabit - I never considered that 6,000 years might be sufficient for it to grow so much.

Thanks in advance for any help.

PS, if you can't find anything, I will accept it through faith.

Brother Bathfire, this is the first I've heard of this revolutionary theory, which I believe we may call the Theory of Squeezedness.

It ties together all those ridiculous space-time theories into one unified theory. Yes, the Universe is expanding, because it started 6,000 years ago with the Word. As newly-created matter spread from the Squeezed center (surrounding Earth), decreases in gravitational force allowed time to breathe freely . . . giving it the lebensraum it so desperately needed to kick it up a notch.

Once the Universe spread to a certain point -- far enough that competing gravitational fields would no longer crush delicate humans -- God created us.

Over time, each day got shorter and shorter than the last.

Now, as the Universe continues to spread out, we may look forward to the length of a day shortening to an hour, then a minute, then a second. Soon, days will pass so fast, it will seem as though the sun only moves very slowly across the sky! Nights will last for hours!

Wait . . . THEY ALREADY DO!!! Have we entered the era of the split-second day, and not even realized it?
