An advance booking on the Hell Train if ever I saw one. How can we be the same stuff as stars? Stars are several miles wide and made of burning coal.

New Atheist Theory: We're Made of Stars?

Probably some new take-off of Andy War-Hole's theory that "in the future, everyone will be a star for fifteen minutes."

Fifteen minutes? Instead of 'Forever in Heaven with God n' Jesus' he's jazzed about fifteen minutes!?

He must have sniffed too much paint-cleaner

Stars are really hot so maybe those atheists hope that they can get used to the heat they will suffer in HELL if they are made of star stuff. Good Christians are made of the dust of the ground (Gen 1:7).

Brother Nobar you and I both know that a person, Saved(tm) or unsaved can only forget Jesus for just sooooo long.

God bless the GOP and all they stand for, Truth, Honesty and the American people. God bless Landover Baptist Church and all True Christians™ the world over. Wait wait.... First they're saying we came from monkeys.. now they're saying we come from star dust? How stupid does he think we are? I mean come on, the first bit of blasphemy was bad enough. You can tell these evilutionists are liars because they can't stick to the same story. The Bible doesn't change, and that's MY story, and I'll stick to that thank you very much.

Re: New Atheist Theory: We're Made of Stars?

What that man was talking about is the elements (different atoms) that make up our body were formed inside of stars. Hydrogen is the most basic and common element in the Universe and is very very abundent. When a lot of hydrogen comes together in space, its gravity squishes it all together and when the pressure in the middle gets sufficient, nuclear fusion begins (which is what makes the star shine). Now the joining of atoms creates other atoms like helium and lithium and so on. (for example, hydrogen is one proton, one electron. when two hydrogens combine it makes helium which has two protons, two electrons, etc.)

So in the middle of a star is all of this intense heat and pressure, atoms are being formed and then one day the fuel that runs this nuclear fusion runs out and the star collapses, creating tons of pressure causing it to explode and shoot its matter (elements) out into space. That dust then eventually combines again to make another star and so on. Sometimes that dust around the star will form into big rocks that are called planets. On that planet life can eventually arise, like us.

That is where all of the elements in your body come from (like the iron in your blood)

This is currently the scientific belief according to the Big Bang.
(I'm not saying i believe in this stuff, just trying to expand a little of what that man was saying so y'all would have the complete understanding of him)

1 Timothy 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
1 Timothy 6:21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

All i was doing was clarifying the scientist point so you do not get evolution and the origin of the elements of our bodies mixed up. I'm just trying to make sure you guys don't look like fools so shoo yourself.

We True Christians(tm) revel in persecution. What is important is how God perceives us, not what sinners think of us.

2Tm:3:11: Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
2Tm:3:12: Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Landover Baptist Faith and Message statement

It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. Therefore, all Scripture is totally true and trustworthy.”

Of course we are made of the elements. The Bible clearly said this long before any so-called scientists existed (Gen 2:7) But the dust that made us didn't come from some exploding star. The Lord made the earth and the heavens on the same (first day). See Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 2:4. Do you think that dirt from some blown-up star in the next galaxy could make it to our solar system in 6000 years?
