Because God wants free will and that can't happen if there mountains of blatant evidence for God's existence.

God wants free will? The Bible is a whole book stating what to do so that he won't hate you, and I'm pretty sure it argues against free will, as many of you have.

And if God wants to not have mountains of evidence, he could just not create it and save himself the work.

Also, this makes it sound as though God is endorsing Satan's actions because it is exactly what he wants to happen. So, is he?

God does not endorse Satan in the Bible, but Bobby seems to believe Satan is doing what He wants, so why wouldn't He support Satan?

Thought so. Now, since God does support Satan in what he is doing, why do you all criticize the 'evils' that you don't like as Satan's work?

It doesn't make sense that you wouldn't support something that God himself created, even if it's through Satan(who God apparently supports too).

See, this is why it's so important not to go on first impressions. When you first showed up, I thought you were one of the few respectable atheists out there, like Didymus Much.

Personally, I like Didymus, I pray for him daily as he is so close to a True Christian(tm). He knows his Bible, he's respectful and carries on intelligent conversation.

You on the other hand seem to be playing semantics games. We have posted that scripture many times before. Of course God created evil, of course God created Satan, it doesn't mean we should follow him. If I put a sandwich on the counter, SHOULD my dog jump up and steal it?

Now, perhaps instead of trying to find a "get out of hell free" card, you should sit back and actually read the Bible so that you have some sort of footing regarding discussing it. Maybe you'll learn something, maybe you'll find out things you never knew.

No, the analogy is a little off point. God clearly has a purpose for Satan, otherwise he would not have created him. When you criticize Satan's ways, you are criticizing God's purpose in creating Satan, which is like criticizing God himself. Though, seriously, I think I get where you're coming from now, so no need to respond to this point.
