Re: More proof of the Flood

whoa whoa whoa... Cranky old man and Pastor Ezekial... you guys misunderstood my post. I am in no way a "Darwinsta". I think Darwin was sadly mistaken about his observations. I do not believe in evolution. Yes, Jesus can bend rocks and whatever He wishes since it is part of His creation. My point for mentioning the bending of the rocks was to show that is evidence of a global flood. My point for talking about plate techtonics was to say that God most likely started the moving of the continental shelfs during the flood and the mountains were created (or raised higher) in a short period of time as opposed to what evolutionists believe where it would take millions of years.
I will go give a proper intro. Thank you and I hope you understand where I am coming from now. I'm on YOUR side!

I am not really convinced of that yet. Did you read the KJV1611 Holy Bible from cover to cover?

2 Timothy 3:15-17 "And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."

To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!

Please where did you find this evidence?

Would you disagree that the shift of tectonic plates that cause such regions could not be held responsible for this, if your evidence is true?
Plate tectonics was an atheist lie, last time I checked. You ever see a continent go skipping around like an armadillo or jackrabbit being strafed with duckshot? 'Cause I havent.

All the evidence I need of God's truth is in the Bible! Besides, the Institute for Creation Research says that theyve all but found Noahs Ark on Mt. Ararat!

We believe the continents broke apart during and after the global flood.

I wouldn't dismiss Plate Techtonics as a whole so quickly either. That theory by itself is not just an evolutionist idea. Where do you think earthquakes and volcanic activity mostly occur? Along the edges of the techtonic plates as they bump together.

Evolutionists do try to say that the ocean floor is being pushed up but that's the best they can do. The Grand Canyon is a great example of the existance of the flood. The layers of sediment laid down during that period ... the evidence of mass erosion as the waters went down.... there are sections of rock layers actually BENT not broken where the land was pushed up as the techtonic plates were moving during the flood while the sediment was still soft. If it took millions of years, there is no way that would have happened. You can't bend rock. And don't throw magma as a theory for that either. It will not work and there is no evidence for it.
You strike me as a sissy-boy false Christian. What DO you believe, anyway? God's Holy Word, the 1611 KJV Bible, or some made-up pack of fairytales about shifting continents and monkey-men?

Your right, the Grand Canyon was formed by Noah's flood. But PLATE tecktonics?? If you were a True Christian, we woudnt have to tell you that earthquakes and volcanos are God's wrath.

Re: More proof of the Flood

Well, I joined this forum to add light to the subject of creation. I wanted to help out with some answers about how God works in case an actual atheist confronted you. But in a short period of time, a handful of you have convinced me that you are not who you say you are claiming you are Bible-believing Christians. Instead, people like "Pastor" Ezekiel who is no more a pastor than I am cusses at me to try to make a point. Or would that be "cussing for Jesus?". He (and/or James DeWitt) also gave me a meaningless and an unfounded infraction for posting a link to a creationist website and called me an atheist. How bizarre and unlike a Christian.
Then we have Cranky Old Man that for some reason isn't convinced that I believe in the Bible. You must think I'm some secret spy from the atheist camp.
And Jebediah Oglethorpe, wow. With only 11 posts to the forum at the time of this response, you are part of the people who are giving the rest of us Christians a bad name. Saying that plate tectonics was an evolutionist idea because you don't SEE continents move? That's like saying air is an evolutionists idea because you have never seen it. No wonder it's difficult for the rest of us have such a tough time trying to share Jesus with atheists. I've had atheists ask me if I'm one of those christians that say I believe in God and ignore what we see. I tell them on the other hand, I believe in God and I explain to them how they are wrong about evolution based on what we see in God's creation and the visible results from the Great Flood. Furthermore, you also give christians a bad name when you claim that earthquakes and volcanoes are a judgement from God. What part of the Bible did you read that from? You are inaccurately claiming that I believe in "monkey-men" just like the others did. It's like you're a bunch of children who can't understand and comprehend written language. You make it painfully obvious when you ask what I believe when you're quoting my previous post that shows clearly what I believe.
Insititute for Creation Research (ICR) is a great source of information. Henry Morris, who runs that group, is a good man and I've met him. He has good information about Noah's ark. Funnily enough, the evil plate tectonic theory you are so scared of is referenced a great deal on the ICR website (the group that you sound like you agree with).
You all do not give the impression that you are actually Christians. I hope that you are but based on your actions thus far, I cannot be associated with this kind of negative group. I hope that you are not the false teachers that God warns us about in Revelations. I wish you all a happy life. It's a shame you all continued to make misinterpretations and false accusations. My final statement is that I am not an atheist, I do not believe in evolution. We were created by God through Adam and Eve as the Bible says 6,000 years ago. I wish you all the best and hope that you clean up your language (Ezekiel) and give a true example of what a real christian is. I will not be returning here. Farewell.

                That is correct.

No I don't. I do think you are a false Christian who skips parts of the Bible or uses one of those modernized fluffy versions though.

We do not agree with those false Christians. Everything you ever need to know is in the Holy Bible. Everything else is speculation at best. Henry Morris will go to hell for sure for pretending he knows better than the Bible.

When did I "cuss" at you? I've never cussed in my life, boy. And how dare you question my credentials as a True Christian(tm) Pastor? Have you seen my Church Bio? Have you seen the curriculum we study from?

Steve, I'd like to know why you're such an angry guy. You sound like an atheist.
