of course it requires the Earth to be a globe. If it was flat there would be no change in angle. No it is not based on centrifugal force it is based on the changing angle of the Earth.

You are assuming Earth to be a globe making certain movements right? Why can it not be a disc making exactly the same movements? Why are you so close minded?

if the sea was a perfect plane then there would be no need t have a nautical mile (a measurement of minutes of latitude) as a standard mile would work fine.

for a start these scientist did not genuine their data they manipulated the way it was shown and a subsequent independent enquiry found they had done nothing wrong or to alter their findings. The other problem with this point is that just a few bad scientist do not make the whole lot rotten. Some Americans are homosexual that does not make you a homosexual.

and as you say it doesn't make sense so why bother? perhaps because the Earth truly is a globe. Accepting the Earth is round is not denying God's existence, the Bible was written before proof the Earth is round was found, they simply did not know, there is nothing wrong with correcting a mistake.

and this stuff you spew about the authorized King James version of 1611 is rubbish, first of all it is a translation of the Jewish version of the old testament and the Greek version of the new testament and so it was not above editing, mistranslation or being the word of politicians and not God, it no different to any other version of the bible, it was also the 3rd translation ordered by the Church of England how can something that is "he indisputable word of God" be translated 3 different times with 3 different results. For centuries the church refused to led the bible be translated into English as it claimed that only Latin was the language of God, why haven't you chosen a Latin version of the bible, is it because you can't speak Latin perhaps?
