I appreciate Brother Joshua's refined manners, I like people who are polite and intelligent. A person's race doesn't even enter into it for me. I meant my compliment to him sincerely. My post was as clear as I could write it, Brother T, yet you want to twist my words to mean something else. Why do you do that?

    ... seriously concerned, noddy

The word "Anglican" is derived from the Anglo-Saxons, a tribe that inhabited England. You Episscopaliens are just a bunch of wannabe Englishers, which must be one of the most inexplicable ambitions the world has ever known.

Thank you for your kind words, Brother Joshua. You are so articulate and well-bred, a pleasure!

I am probably older than you think I am, Brother, both husband and father went to be with God, my children are grown with their own families. My family in the Lord is my church, where I'm blessed and honored to serve.

Perhaps what the Godly pastors here consider to be sassy in my replies is my outspoken loyalty to the Episcopal Church. To me it is the most beautiful and refined of the mainstream churches; a liturgical church but without the influence of the Roman Pope. As I've said in various posts on the board, I'm not a fundamentalist; I'm also well-read and informed in science, history and literature.

I find the conversation here on the forum lively and enjoyable. Sometimes I speak out and offer information about religious history and tradition because I have a background in theology, and I like intelligent dialogue.

In no way are my replies meant to be insulting or contradictory to the pastors here. I think perhaps some of them have misunderstood. I like to have a good time too, and I've been having fun being silly in some of my posts. Nothing wrong with some good-natured joking around and laughter, yes?

In my church women are respected for our minds, our intellectual abilities and skills. Episcopalian women can go to seminary and earn a Masters of Divinity degree, go through Process to Holy Orders and be ordained as clergy, or licensed as lay ministers, as I am; or find fullfillment in many other ministries such as outreach, family services, healing prayer, and so on.

Brother, I think you needn't fear I'll ever be temped to lesbianism, I'm personally against the gay lifestyle for both men and women, and have no inclination toward that sort of thing.

Thanks for asking, and blessings from Nan ...

yeah, they need all those dollers to do that. unless you dont want your satellite TV anymore, or internet.
You should concentrate on fixing your deranged sexual identity rather than spreading these mumbo-jumbo lies about stars.

    Genesis 1,16
And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

    What don't you understand?

Pfft. You fools confuse God with earthly pleasures and entertainment. God is not gold, music, and pomp!
He is who He says He is, and He is more glorious even invisible than all your visible and very worldy pomp could ever be.
God wants to meet you in a nearby closet, not some gold-decorated hall filled with babbling pedophile priests!
SEE, GOD DOESN'T FREQUENT THE DECORATED BROTHELS OF YOU WHORES WHO GO A-WHORING AFTER FALSE GODS AND VAIN IMAGINATIONS!
    PRAISE JESUS!

Gold is for tithing, not interior decoration. (Haggai 2:8)
Closets are for prayer, not prada shoes bought with money stolen from the poor! (Like the pope's closet)

    But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret;
And thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
    Matthew 6:6

You've had the only reward you'll ever get from praying in public and engaging in empty rituals & pomp:
The pomp itself, and the praise of men.
You worship nothing but your own rituals, own ideas, own organisation ("church") and your own selfs.

But we True Christians worship the Lord God, and will be rewarded with Heaven for our unwavering faith. Praise Jesus!

    Enjoy hell, whore.

Obsessed with bling-bling....You're a natural born pope.

Of course not, nothing evolved. Evolution is just liberal propaganda to make people think blacks might actually be good for something some day.

Oh yeah, well the nutreno-eletroradioactivemagnetic bioxide-protein-beta-8596.38, when divided by the metathermodynamichyrochlorofloride = mc45.55 minus the ionosphereic metaphychoticism multiplied by the petrocarbonoboronic megahydraego proves that I'm right and you're wrong! Nya-nya-nya-nya-nya! (See, I can play at the science game also!)

Also space flight isnt cheep. you know how much rocket fuel is?

You why it's expensive? Because scientists overcharge so they can afford all those fansy star-trek conventions alll the time.

yeah, they need all those dollers to do that. unless you dont want your satellite TV anymore, or internet.

Oh, so now the internet evolved too? You've contradicted yourself, the official democratic party line is that Al Gore invented the internet.
    I win!

The Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics has announced the discovery of a mass of crystallized carbon formerly known as star BPM 37093, now known as the biggest diamond in the galaxy, fifty light years away from Earth in the constellation Centaurus.

The star, named "Lucy" after the Beatles song, "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," is estimated to be 2,500 miles across and weighs approximately 10 billion-trillion-trillion-carats – a one, followed by 34 zeros. Travis Metcalfe, an astronomer from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics and leader of the team who discovered the gem, says “You would need a jeweler’s loupe the size of the sun to grade this diamond. Bill Gates and Donald Trump together couldn’t begin to afford it.”

The diamond is actually the crystallized interior of a white dwarf – or the hot core of a star that is left over after the star uses up its nuclear fuel and dies.

(Yeah right, stars die....What are they evolved from, fireflies?)
