Okay, just want to point out a contradiction the first verse says "four corners" the second says "circle of the Earth". I don't know if you know what you are talking about but a circle is round and cannot have corners. The only explanation is that those passages are wrong. Praise Jesus!

As for your "contradiction", consider a coin; it looks round doesn't it? But then turn it on its side and it looks like this:

so (correct me if i'm wrong), according to your logic, if I got in a boat and attempted to travel across the pacific, that I wouldn't reach Asia and would fall of into space even though in space there is no down or up and that theres miles and miles of atmosphere around the earth

also, have you tried booking a trans-pacific flight? if you think that you can't get to Asia by North America (or the other way around), then why do they have the destination selection available?????

Now the stick is the North pole, what we navigate by. Hammer the stick into the ground and hold the other end of the string and start walking, keeping the same distance from your 'North pole'. Actually I believe that only includes the Books of Moses (not a Biblical expert though) and yes, we do realize that the OT is from the Jews. If you bother to read the OT, you will see that it's the same story over and over again. God makes Israel his favourite people, they turn their back on him and go whoring after other gods, God punishes them, they repent, God forgives them and the circle starts over again. Even God seems to get tired of repeating himself, so he sent Jesus to save everyone and the Jews killed him. Somehow, that put them in God's bad books. Funny that.

God chose Lot to survive the destruction of Sodom because of his high morals.
